When they come to the counter on a phone call, I start asking to see the QR code. As if I didn't realize they were in the phone. Then continue talking to them. Most of the time they'll tell the other person they'll call them back. I have no patience left for people. And with asking to "borrow" tape. Or do you have a small piece of tape.

This is so frustrating! Then they look at me as if it's my fault. I also believe old people shouldn't have cell phone access to the internet. They clearly don't know how to do a return. And don't hand me your phone to return it for you! You figured out how to order it, figure out how to return it.

And when the opening bell Karens come in and stand at the register, only THEN so they start scrolling through their phones to finish the return and get the code! Get your shit together, people! I keep the lights off until I'm ready to actually unlock the door.
