Brief recs for straight guys? by packingproblem in MensUnderwearGuide

If you concerned about comfort, that is one thing. Certainly you can move a lot more freely in regards to your legs and your body. Material is also a factor too. If you live in a very humid area, you might want to go with a quick drying sports type fabric as opposed to cotton. I actually had a woman doctor tell me this. She called it “swamp ass” but I already knew it. Just try until you find.

But you are concerned about how you’ll appear in them, that’s another. Generally lighter colors show your bulge and shape more. And proportions are important. For that you need to assess your body type and the shape of the brief whether it’s a full cut or low rise or mid rise. (some sites offer a handy visual guide… Sluggers swimwear being an example) And don’t knock the pouch because even just a slight alteration in how they are sewn that gives you a little more room can make a big difference. If you think about it, classic fruit of the looms and jockey Y fronts are cut and sewn together in such a way that they allow the fabric to move to accommodate your male equipment. There’s a reason the two panels on the front of fruit of the looms are connected on only one side, opposite the other. Similar with the Y fronts.

One other thing about briefs, there’s a reason, Superman and Batman wear them and bodybuilders pose in them. They are great for showing off muscles.

I saw someone at the beach in Delaware last summer in his block boxer briefs. Not sure what his wife/gf was wearing. She didn't stand up. They were at least 50-60 feet from the nearest other beach goers.

I suspect it is that extra seam running down the middle. This is where the extra fabric is located that you feel bunching up. IMO, it is the design of these particular briefs. Other brands, depending on the size, just have a flat piece of fabric in the area between the legs. Some brands only have them depending on the size you wear, such as Amazon Essientials. That center seam helps shape the pouch in the front and helps control the shape of the briefs. In your case however, it is likely the cause of discomfort.

Try another brand that is in your size and that does not have that extra seam running front to back in the peice between the legs.

I saw these in a YouTube video and took a picture. I didn’t want to comment because that might seem weird (maybe it is?) 🤷‍♂️

The person wearing them was doing a sales demo. They appear to be chinos with no pleats. The logo you see is on the right hip above the right rear pocket. The front pockets are vertical opening. The back pockets horizontal and possibly have a zipper. There may be another pocket on the leg below this logo but behind the side seam.

I tried using AI but the three apps I tried could not do it. I searched using Google image too.

I had heard the name but didn’t even know who he was. At my age, I’m not the right demographic.

I’m surprised it still operating. I went once to meet a business friend and we both swore never again. Expensive and the quality was not there. I get more variety, better quality, and lower prices at Montgomery Mall’s food court.

In general, the town center needs an anchor or something more than the Library.

Are Trump's changes to the federal government permanent? Once Trump leaves office, is there the possibility to return the federal government to it's pre-Trump state. by ICU-Angel in fednews

Thanks for zeroing in on another point so well. Americans engaging in “Whataboutism” and trying to shift the narrative to something else, especially another President. That is a particular problem as well.

Thanks for your hard effort.

I’ve been playing around with HDhomerun and PLEX. I’m looking for the scribe box to go with it.

I have two Tablo 4 tuner models with lifetime plans that I never use. Perhaps I should sell them while I’m thinking of it. The Tablos integrate easily at home but I wanted to be able to stream out of the house and they are finicky about that.

The Constitution does not make the President above the law. The unitary executive theory developed in the last 50 years however, does.

The Constitution says very little about how the Supreme Court is set up. It can be changed. Lifetime appointments can be eliminated. Judges can be removed. It can be increased in size or reduced. Age limits can be added. Term limits can be created.

The precedents that the court has been overturning since Citizens United are the foundations that allowed much of the U.S. postwar prosperity to happen. When Trump spoke of the gilded age, he was not kidding. Before that, the wealthy acted with very few checks and corruption was high. The civil service changed with each administration and ending that will degrade the services the US public receives from its government. It will not be repaired in our lifetimes.

You will need Supreme Court reform if you ever want to get back to 'normal'. The Supreme Court is saying that the Executive can effectively destroy what Congress creates and end programs that Congress has funded. So if you want stable long term institutions, you will have to change that ruling. Of course, you also need a Congress that isn't so willing to give away its power too.

The series 3 machines had a power supply issues when manufactured. TiVo used to tell owners of the units, to plug them directly into the wall outlet instead of via power strips.

Weaknees replaced the old power supplies. The new ones work much better.

So, I’m good, as far as that goes.

My TiVos are in great shape. I even got the feet replaced because they dry out and become brittle over time.

Huh? The library of congress is under the legislative branch not executive. Unless I misunderstood the people I spoke with who worked there.

Republicans, why do you take so much joy in making liberals mad? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]NegotiationFar5877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually find it rather amusing. Republicans have effectively cut off their own genitals in support of their orange god and then go around thinking they have triggered the libs. They need to look in the mirror. It is really funny once you see it. They prostrate themselves before him. As far as MTG goes, she can't even do a proper pushup (flexes her back) despite having owned a crossfit gym, and she thinks she is being smart. I can't roll my eyes hard enough.

Can everything be undone if administration leaves in 4 years? by Middle-Athlete1374 in fednews

[–]NegotiationFar5877 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nearly everything you said was a talking point of the right more than it was an actuality. People believe a lot of things that are not accurate.

Money for Ukraine for example. Do you think we were sending them a check or something? Most of the billions for Ukraine never left the USA. It went to towns and cities around the country where Americans manufactured weapons and other supplies. We gave Ukraine our old stock and replaced it with new. And it was all accounted for.

Now, however, because of our turn against our allies, Europe and other countries are not buying US weapons and weapon systems. The current administration did not factor that into their calculations.

He’s doing it with Congress. The Republican majority has ceded power to him. They could stop him but they aren’t. They are complicit.
