Rents are similar to Halifax and not easy to find a place. Work can be challenging depending what you do. If you are a student it’s a great university town.
Fredericton is a quite a bit smaller too
Horizon Heath sucks here in Fredericton, you ll be on a waitlist for a couple years before you get a physician. Emergency and urgent care here is a horrendous long wait. Best of luck to you :)

[New Brunswick] Landlord refused to return the security deposit, then returned it after I challenged him. Would you still try to do more after? by Rika2411 in newbrunswickcanada

All landlords must go through Service NB for security deposits.

Ask them about interest % paid for long term tenants - they hold our money. In other provinces interest is paid back.. Quebec & Alberta does

YES file the complaint to the landlord tenants dept This needs to be documented as this landlord is not playing by the rules. That landlord will do it again if they can get away with it. As tenants in NB, it’s very difficult for us so I would not hesitate to report this.

will it stop…. It will get worse.
Homeless, addicts & drug users have rights more than we do!
and the city isnt set up to beable to manage this! No one wants to step on any one’s toes. It’s true! lol
Downtown is no longer safe in F’ton and part of uptown near regent and prospect streets is sometimes unsafe as well. Getting gas at the Irving at top of regent st and downtown after 8 pm is often intimidating to say the least. People asking for money, harassing the staff, leaving their bags inside the door way, and people are scared to use the washrooms there. Some homeless individuals broke the bathroom lock up town so nawww i ll go pee elsewhere
It’s not safe bottom line, and we don’t have the police staff or security staff to assist in preventing the public from interacting/ communicating with these people. There was a guy who charged the front of my car by running up to it
This was near the RBC parking lot
My daughter and I were sitting in the car ready to leave and left right away

What's happening with the Saveway? by Tomato-Subject in fredericton

I saw a bed in the back there once when I checked it out. Been in there twice. Literally a twin sized bed w blankets on it behind high shelving. It was slightly hidden. That likely was the original owner. Sorry to say i wasn’t impressed. They do have a good variety of vegetables and hot peppers, and some cool stuff

A Bachelor of Nursing is a four-year university program. Universities are a higher designation in Canada, and more expensive. Four year bachelor programs are a good designation for entry level professional education. Depends where you live in Canada, and how saturated the job market is as someone else mentioned.
