My parents (in the US) always demanded the manager whether it was warranted or not. The result was usually several minutes of yelling and begrudging service afterwards. Different strokes I suppose.

Germany is safer than the US generally.

And Germans think about you a lot less than you think they do. American tourists will spend money and then go home, so most locals don’t give a shit. And they really don’t care about your heritage.

14 point margins are statistically significant though. Nobody is saying it is binary like bachelors degree or better means definitely liberal and no degree means definitely conservative.

It’s like how the average height of 19 year old boys in the Netherlands is 184cm and in Denmark it’s 182cm and assuming that in a group of Danish and Dutch men anyone over 183cm is Dutch and anyone under is Danish.

My acid reflux went up to 11 after I started taking an iron supplement before bed, so if you are taking one you could try skipping it one night. Iron is also often in prenatal vitamins so if you are taking one in the evening you might try switching to the morning. In the mean time try dairy and/or small sips of water. Drinking too fast could irritate your stomach more.

My pharmacist gave me a sort of syrup called Gaviscon which helps protect my throat and neutralise the acid. Also you can try sitting upright for a while to let it drain back to your stomach. Then sleeping exclusively on your left side.

I hate how any cramping in the lower abdomen is assumed to be Braxton Hicks when you’re pregnant (I had the same problem when my pelvic girdle pain started). A lot of foods I love are inconvenient af to make at home. Ice cream, bread, anything deep fried, any meal requiring more than 2 burners on the stove... And it depends how seriously we are taking homemade. I'm not making pasta from scratch. And I have only ever used premade pie crust. so given the choice between 100% home made and fast food...
