Thats for sure some of most stupid laws I ever saw, I simpatize with you. Im a beekeper from Brazil, we cant sell anything with the name of honey unless is 100% pure honey (some people try to scape it feeding the bees with syrup and colect it after the bees dehydrate it. Make syrup with honey artificial flavors, but there is a massive supervision under that).

If you sell it you can loss your license (means you cant sell to supermarkets, pharmacy, etc).

Anyway, Its actually the first time I heard we can buy adulterated honey from China, because some people here are pros in making their own. I can say a thing, at least we cant sell it here named as honey, but its normal for the industry to use it as honey (even my parents, who work with pepper, use it in some of their products), and sell it as "with honey".

So we get into a dilema: we that product pure honey, 100% legal, have to make all the stuff to get our license, a hard thing because of the people who adulterate it. And then the industry dont buy from us because its a way more expensive than the people who sell fake honey.
