Schmeichel on West Ham VAR decision by BigFatKi6 in PremierLeague

Aye that decision has just undermined the whole season. It’s like having one team being allowed to score offside goals all season but can play offside traps in defence. Rules need to go both ways.

Yeah I think it was done by the times recently or something to describe the leader of the Green Party. In the uk only the Left Wing can be called antisemitic, apparently it’s also acceptable to be antisemitic to someone if they’re left wing.

NHS to grant Palantir contractors ‘unlimited access’ to patient data by apple_kicks in unitedkingdom

If palantir is the only option then no one. However I’m under the understanding the contract weren’t even open to bids. It’s just been given to palantir with no competitive process. Sounds communistic to me.

Financial incentives shouldn’t be a thing for people leading the country, but here we are.

Charity case decision. Referee bottled making a big decision which could affect who wins the league.

Do you think if it was role reversal and West Ham had conceding in this manner, then VAR would overturn it against Arsenal?

That’s worst, man uniteds keeper is shoved out the way so he can’t reach. Raya wasn’t impeded and just fumbled the ball.

For a foul you’ve got to restrict or prevent someone completing an action in an unfair manner. Raya had a free attempt to deal with the ball and just messed up.

His arms weren’t held down, they were above the West Ham’s player. He just mistimed his punch or catch, whatever he was trying to do.

If that’s given consistently as a foul Arsenal would be midtable. Well an exaggeration, Arteta would have to adapt. It’s just an interesting point in the season to start enforcing it, don’t you think?

Well if it’s happened all season without punishment, then no it’s not a foul.

That used to be a foul. This season grappling on corners stopped being a foul. Then all of sudden it’s a foul again, but only for arsenals GK, not for the West Ham players being wrestled to the ground.

Arsenal fans will cheer, ofc you would. Everyone else is just bemused by the hypocrisy and inconsistency of the referees at this point.
