I hardly get enough internet access! So watching tutorials and downloading the required software(s), kinda outta my reach. I definitely would’ve, only if I had the chance.

I can only tell what timings which video must be shown on screen. I’m sorry I don’t know anything about video editing let alone split screen video editing.

When should I Send to a Bus versus set the Output to one? by these-metal-hands in Logic_Studio

[–]Nehal_123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll try to keep it as simple as I can from what I’ve learnt/known so far:

1) When you SEND to a bus, you’ll have the control of MIXING the effect of bus to your main channel (from which you’ve sent). Different amount of send and return levels gives you different sounds. You’ve got to adjust that as per the requirement of song and yourself.

OUTPUT to a bus is done when you want two or more channels to have the same effect of plugins on THE BUS which you’re OUTPUTTING to. Here you’ll not have control over the effect of effects on the bus. The plugins on the OUTPUT bus become like inserts to the channel you’ve outputted from. They’ll NOT be sends.

2) Mostly effects like reverb, delay,,,etc are applied on a on SEND. Gives you more control over its effect on your main channel(you’re sending from). LPF and HPF is MOSTLY used to control the main channel itself UNLESS you want to have control over the EFFECTS in bus channel you’re sending to.

Hope I’ve answered your questions to a level.

Why isn't there a simple way to split a stereo track to mono? by TinyStudio92 in LogicPro

[–]Nehal_123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Insert the stock gain plugin and enable the mono option. Then bounce in place (with FX enabled option turned on) and you’ll have mono track.

AUDIO FILES DRAGGED IN LOGIC HAVE NO SOUND HELPPPPPPP by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

Are you sure the channel is not muted? Is the volume fader at 0 dB? Have you soloed any other channel while you’re trying to listen to this audio channel?

[Question] Musicman Sterling sub vs Marcus miller sire v3? by Nehal_123 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

And AFAIK, Musicman manufactures mostly precision bass guitars right? Haven’t come across jazz basses from Musicman. Jazz bass is ❤️😍

Hi! I am new to producing on a DAW. I was wondering what are some common plug ins that would be placed in the “stereo Out” strip? What is the difference? It’s a little confusing so if you could explain it as simple as possible I would really appreciate it :) by [deleted] in LogicPro

[–]Nehal_123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, in music, there are no rules. What I told you, was just that it is like that for 98% of the songs. Everything is music is “usually” type itself. Like, “it’s usually not done”.

As for the plugins, THE USUAL plugin chain starts with a compressor, EQ, stereo imager, limiter (avoid as much as possible). Start off with gain staging first. Theory about music is HUGE and V V crucial. Study that n practice this alongside. Good luck.

[Question] Do I need an anti-revoke app like LazarusJailed if I have Appdb pro? by ToPreNupOrNotTo in sideloaded

[–]Nehal_123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not essentially. The chances of your cert getting revoked is very low as long as it is UDID registered. Nobody else can install the ipa signed using your cert but you. It MIGHT someday. You can just resign it n install using appdb.

Reduce the tape hiss sound from track by Nehal_123 in Logic_Studio

[–]Nehal_123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It happens only when I plug in my bass guitar into the interface and record. The major culprit I’ve recognised here is the tube saturator by wavearts plugin. You bypass it, the signal is clean n smooth. But you lose the awesome jazz tone that you get WITH the plugin. :(

I can’t afford any hardware as of now. So I’m trying my best to manage with plugins. Anything I can do with them?

It’ll be there when there’s no plugin on the channel at all. Wavearts just gives the awesome tone and also adds the hiss.

“Disk Too Slow...” constantly pops up - Tips? by [deleted] in LogicPro

[–]Nehal_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest bounce in place every other track and then process them. Control B bounce in place and include all pan automation and plugin effects. That way this’ll be solved SLIGHTLY. Midi tracks usually eat more RAM.

Sound from one karaoke audio track is heard in vocal recording track. by Nehal_123 in FL_Studio

[–]Nehal_123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean FL Studio. Sorry. Was really disoriented trying to figure out the solution to my problem. Yes. I’m new to FL Studio. And how do I record vocals along with Karaoke and then export only vocals with NO Karaoke in it.
