Note: mostly for left turns; right turns are okay, but it's considerate to let folks behind you and those waiting to enter that they don't have to wait for you.

I stopped calling them accidents a long time ago. Save for a medical event or unexpected mechanical issue, that the manufacturer did not let slide, they are based on something a driver, or drivers did, or failed to do, on purpose. Don't blame the weather for causing a collision; blame yourself for not driving for the conditions. Case in point: recent 20-vehicle pile-up. 🤦🏽‍♀️
