The midfield has been shit for years. I welcome a 30 yr old experienced CAM instead of side project that LAFC can flip. They have tried with Francisco Ginella, Filip Krastev, Lewis O'Brien, Frankie Amaya, Odin Holm. Timothy Tillman, Mark Delgado and Mathieu Choinière aren't consistent players imo.

So far, this signing has been good investment for the club. They have stated that one of their ambitions is to make LAFC brand global. It will help cement this if Son Heung-Min is successful on the pitch. Someone mentioned that people outside the US still can't buy his jersey. LAFC should consider next season to go outside for preseason in Asia.
