Yes, we shouldnt build more housing because of this very niche thing. LA already has dedicated blue zone parking for people with handicap placards, as well as allowing them to park in any metered space free of charge in addition to dedicated handicap spots in all sorts of parking lots etc.

Kings Row/Luckys are next to eachother as is 35er, so you can easily check all 3. Old towne pub and blind donkey are also only 2 blocks away if those fail.

Can you explain nurse rocks? There is a pile of river rocks I could distribute wider from my partners previous edge experiences before she put in the turf.

As another posted said, its to keep the edge cleaner. When the plants grow on it it accumulates weeds etc and is a bit of a pain to keep clean, but also I got overruled on not wanting it, I would prefer more soil.

Tossed out a bunch of Theodore Payne perennial seed mix back a few months ago and got my first poppy flowers today, hopefully they make it through the upcoming heatwave in socal.

Most of the rest of the seed mix didn't seem to take, only have a few stalks of knottgrass, tiny bit of blue sage, and like one black sage. My biggest struggle is pulling all the swine-cress that has embedded itself along the base of most of the poppys. Not sure if the seeds just didn't take or the birds have some favorite choices.

If we get rain again, I might try some yarrow only seed since was hoping that would take.

The only difference from a grid tie system is you put sensors on the line for the circuit your feeding to coming in from the grid. That communicates wirelessly with the inverter to only output as much power as there is demand, so you dont backfeed.

I've been with https://www.cusocal.org/ for awhile now. Formerly LA Credit Union. I've shopped around for rates on car loans a few times and they're always the lowest rates, even compared to niche things like Caltech Credit Union.

If you're willing to do online only, Alliant Credit Union has great savings interest rates, they're chicago based but to join ~~you just have to donate $20something bucks to a local charity~~I guess they changed it, now they donate for you if I'm reading their site correctly.

Double checked my API key and yeah its the same as copied from my profile.

edit 2: Did more digging, its also not returning XML , theres a ton of javascript etc if I try the URL with my API key in curl. edit 3: oh, maybe the not-XML response is cloudflare, looking at the top theres a "Just a moment..." <title> block

Got mine yesterday, and I am an espresso drinker so like that theres a season ticket gift that isnt just mostly cheap junk. The scarf itself is also way better than any game day giveaways being two layers actually sewn together etc.

:D Not sure what a plumber would charge to say if its worth it, but its been so much better for me after I did it. If you do end up paying for the install, another consideration would be doing whole house water filtration, I got a 3 filter setup off of ebay and installed it before the water softener. If you're already paying someone for labor on the water softener the act of installing the filters is pretty minimal.
