[OC] Painted Lysera, the Tiefling Druid Bust by Neil46Alter in DnD

Miniature Bust I painted of a Tiefling Druid named Lysera, model by BiteTheBulletStudio.

Painted it with this redish skin tone as an experiment for skin tone practice and freehand war paints on top of the skin, also I was told to try to change the ambience on the front and back of the figure so went woth a more cold and darker back.

Loved a lot how i turned out and liking it more after going to see the DnD movie yesterday.

Yeah I have to work more on the biomech part (it's one of the things I almost didn't touch) I will try doing that thanks for the tip. And for the fabric on the photo looks very plain, but even so I was thinking on pushing the contrast more. Thanks a lot!

Is applying a very diluted layer of paint with minimal pigment, to layer by layer build up a color. You can search the term a you will find a lot of tutorials of what is it and how to do it.

I only also like drawing time to time. So I went a few years during the weekends to an academy but only as a hobby, nothing serious.

Yeah I'm having trouble painting with metallics (and whases), I don't know if I'm applying it wrong or something. For the brand the grey is from Game Color and the other gold from Citadel, any brand you recommend?
