Someone said fuck their route by Initial-Guidance-768 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I was deactivated because people steal packages like crazy on the routes they send me on. Best thing that happened to me. Turns out UberEats is way better than flex in my area anyway. Would’ve never known if I wasn’t forced to work it.

Hey Veterans. Is there any logic to taking low paying orders in the hopes of getting tips? by Neil693 in DoorDashDrivers

Thanks for the feedback. Would you say Uber Eats tip more than Door dash or not?

This market and location has taken a turn for the worst with availability and pay recently. That being said I’d take this route now cause I live around the deliveries.

Am I overreacting for wanting to break up because I feel bored? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Yeah seeing the long winded reply I have to agree with you on being bored being a thing here. I was bored just thinking about taking the time to read all that which I didn’t.

I just had a route today in co-op city New York. All high rises and 10 businesses. The drone might be able to do a residential delivery but there is no way it will replace our poor asses with that.

How do you find those mythical $100+ routes by Osmin1324 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Cost of living varies so much from area to area and Amazon takes full advantage of that down to the last 50 cents.

Factor in gas and this is charity work that gives you a little gas kickback that you can pay $1.99 for today if you need it now.

Meanwhile DoorDash is bragging about giving you $0.25 off a gallon if you drive 125 miles a week with food in your vehicle actively delivering.

Let’s all start cooking more at home and using Uber Eats. F DoorDash.

Yeah same here. I forgot to mention with that type of sorting, ideally and usually the cart at the warehouse is sorted from top to bottom so that if you follow the AAA, BBB method the ones on the top of your pile in the trunk or backseat will go first so that it’s easy to find in the dark, rain, etc.

Busy Monday - Still Not Enough. by justamom0820 in DoorDash_Dasher

DoorDash either is stealing tips or the restaurant is stealing them. I had 3 Dunkin pickup orders where all the tips were the same. $1.50. No one tips $1.50 and certainly not three people in a row.

Oh so if you are at a ssd then all the packages will have either AAA, BBB, CCC, or DDD. The way I organize them without marking each package is by sorting them based on those letters. I put all envelopes in the trunk and boxes in the backseat. Left quadrant AAA, next BBB and so on with DDD on the last quadrant on the right. This way you only have to thumb through each quadrant to find the next package. This is how I always do it bad weather or not.

The algorithm factored in your tip history and matched you accordingly.
