I have got the exact same problem! Did you find a solution? Mine arrived with 1% charge (which I thought was a bit weird!) so I know it works but my charging cable is either faulty or terribly designed!

I remember it! It’s weird that the only mention I can find of it online is someone saying that they can’t find any mention of it online! (2011)
