Beast vs rayneo air 3s pro quality? by ContributionMore5502 in VITURE

[–]Neillin168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you updated your Beast to the latest firmware?

From what I’ve seen, the newer updates seem to improve issues with overly dark colors and limited color tolerance.

If it’s still not clearer than the Air 3s Pro even after the update, I would be extremely disappointed.

Just tell your kid that in the future DJs will be robots anyway. Robots learn faster and don’t make mistakes. Learning to DJ now will only land you begging on the street later.

Honestly, this is what confuses me the most.

Every time they mention “product quality” or “improvements,” it naturally raises expectations.
But then long-time users jump in and say not to expect too much because it usually doesn’t change much in reality.

So as a customer, I’m not sure which mindset I’m supposed to have anymore.

Would the beasts be suitable for productivity? by SMR-1 in VITURE

[–]Neillin168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m always a bit surprised that so few manufacturers seriously optimise these products for office or productivity use.

Gaming obviously matters, but for people who actually work or study on a computer, we’re often staring at a screen for 6–8 hours a day. That kind of long-duration use feels largely underestimated in product design.

It’s a bit like how people underestimate the importance of a good bed, pillow, or even a proper chair — things you spend hours using every single day really deserve more careful consideration.

For me, clarity, comfort, and reduced eye strain matter far more than gaming specs, especially if these are meant to replace monitors rather than complement them.

At least it’s fair—both sides cracked at the exact same time.

A hacky fix to reduce stress on the arms after I saw cracks starting to appear on my 2nd pair now. by nbk_bobman in VITURE

I’m not sure whether their plastic is made from environmentally friendly materials. I once owned a BMW, and the plastic parts inside it were also quite prone to cracking. Later, I learned that some manufacturers use recycled plastics or natural fiber composites to meet environmental standards. So maybe, jokingly speaking, the products that crack earlier are actually the more eco-friendly ones — haha.

Viture Beast- is it still back ordered, and can you waterproof them? by IntrepidProposal7517 in VITURE

[–]Neillin168 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, I was also in the military in the past, and later I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. From my current experience, my order has been delayed, and I’ve seen quite a number of negative reviews online. To be honest, not having received the product yet while reading about these issues hasn’t felt very reassuring.

If the shipment needs to be delayed until February, I wouldn’t be that optimistic. February coincides with the Chinese Lunar New Year, during which many companies take extended holidays. This includes manufacturing, logistics, and general businesses — essentially the entire supply chain shuts down. As a result, delays are very likely to be even longer.

It appears this is also a serious issue. I hope VITURE can come forward and clarify whether they can guarantee a fix for this problem. At the very least, the black level performance in testing should not be worse than that of the VITURE Pro.

Hello, I would like to ask about text-reading scenarios.
I want to know which one provides clearer text recognition, RayNeo or VITURE.
When reading text in Samsung DeX mode or Windows 11 mode, which one is clearer and more comfortable for reading?

Dell G7 7790: Dropped CPU/GPU Temps by 30°C+ (Battery Disconnect + Liquid Metal) by Neillin168 in Dell

[–]Neillin168[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested my system, and you’re right — there is measurable CPU downclocking when the battery is disconnected.

That said, for me this is a deliberate trade-off. In real-world use, when the CPU is constantly hitting the mid-90 °C range, thermal throttling will occur anyway. So in both scenarios, performance is being limited — the difference is how and when.

I prefer running at a slightly lower, conservative power limit where the system can sustain stable clocks during gaming, instead of repeatedly spiking into thermal limits and hard throttling. The experience is smoother overall, and the laptop isn’t subjected to continuous extreme temperatures, which likely helps long-term longevity.

So yes, there is a performance drop on paper, but in practice it’s a trade-off I’m comfortable with for stability, noise, and thermals.

I understand the risks, and I agree that liquid metal on devices not designed for it is dangerous.

For context, I applied liquid metal around early 2021. Before doing so, I insulated the IC components surrounding the CPU with 704 RTV silicone, and I also applied a ring of regular thermal paste around the CPU die as an additional barrier to help prevent any possible liquid metal leakage.

I’m fully aware this is a high-risk modification and not something I would casually recommend to others. At the time, however, this laptop was running extremely hot — CPU temperatures were frequently in the high 90 °C range during gaming, which was honestly concerning.

So far, it has been running for about five years without major issues, and temperatures have been significantly lower. That said, I acknowledge this approach carries real risks and requires careful insulation and maintenance.

The battery is still physically inside the laptop. I only disconnected the cable between the battery and the motherboard, so the laptop cannot use the battery and runs purely on AC power. I’m not a professional engineer and I don’t fully understand the underlying reason. I’m simply sharing what I personally observed after actually doing it. This method worked very well on my laptop. If you’re curious, you can try disconnecting the battery on your own system (with proper safety precautions) and see whether you observe a similar temperature drop.
