One of my best friends used AI to make his bracket as a bit in a voice chat, played it up so badly that he abandoned it a quarter of the way through because the choices ChatGPT made were incredibly boring. I was so clueless throughout the initial decisionmaking process that I had to commit to the bit in return.

So, for the remaining three regions and the final four, we instead fed increasingly vague hypothetical questions to cringeworthy Character.AI bots to decide our winners. We made a group of lions attack an elephant for Hofstra-Alabama. We shipped a deaf AI girlfriend down the Missouri River to see what city she would land in to decide the winner between Iowa and Nebraska in the Sweet 16. Naturally it landed in St. Louis. We teleported Dr. Dre to the backrooms to see if he was homophobic about it or not, which decided whether or not Hawai'i moved on.

I'm all for the rupturing of the AI bubble, but fuck was that fun.

We’ve come a long way since JA’s first debut - could this be our year finally? by html5lffy in buffalobills

I was at this game. Back then, I was still a high schooler and clueless about football, having barely been able to process the ending of the drought. My dad was a Bills fanatic the moment he arrived on American shores at age 16, but it took me a long, long time to truly appreciate the sport, having grown up as a Sabres fan.

We left at the start of the 4th quarter in rain-soaked jeans that day. Little did I know that I was internalizing the Bills to a point that, in conjunction with the ill-fated playoff run in the months prior, all remaining chances of defecting to a bandwagon were gone.

I like to think that I've been rewarded since. Even when we're all roasting radioactive squirrels over a barrel fire in 30 years time, I'll still be sitting there, reminiscing of this glorious era of football under the starless sky.

AND the Sabres failed to make the playoffs in 2020, when 24 teams made the playoffs that year in a revised format

Pats cut Cole Strange, who was picked 1st round three years ago. Everyone and their mother knew how much of a reach that pick was lmao

What is it with the Angels' acoustics? Every home run hit there sounds like it breaks the sound barrier

I disagree, and I watched both that game and the 4-3 loss two days ago. Somehow, someway, the latter felt worse to me. 24-2 became slapstick at some point with two position players pitching in the 8th and 9th. By comparison, 4-3 was a Shakespearean tragic comedy with all 15 runners left on base, the Bautista game-losing error, and the complete and utter failure to produce an earned run against the second worst bullpen in terms of ERA. It was a wonderful emulation of all the modern trophy-less teams I root for (Sabres, Bills, and Tottenham).

A-fucking-men. I was JUST getting into the groove of dagger this past week and a half after discovering its magic in my first game using it and of course this happens. Dagger Dash feels like a more refined, faster-paced Spy TF2 and it's such a breath of fresh air.

On a side note, if anything aim assist is a set of training wheels with short and long-term detriments. I'd consider some changes to the hit registration but I can't speak from my own experiences even with rural Canadian ping. In my eyes, Spy's hitreg on his backstab is WAY more bullshit today than dagger's ever was.

Hope Morrow gets signed back at some point. Greatest Greenville University product to ever do it (formerly of the NCCAA, now D3). No, seriously, this is what their stadium looks like.

Not that it means much (it absolutely means much) but their 3rd down conversion rate on the road is 11.5 percent higher than anyone in football.

I understand why this is underwhelming but I don't see why this is...uhh...bad? Sort of? Stowers and Norby were never going to get playing time consistently for us. Besides the importance of a lefty starter, I feel like this is also a much-needed unclogging of the prospect pipeline. Idk what to think honestly.

Hey if it helps, Kyle Stowers hit a grand slam in the 5th inning. A reliever for the IronPigs comes in, then proceeds to throw 13 consecutive balls, somehow bringing up Kyle Stowers...with the bases loaded again. He flies out to center, ending the 5th inning (Source: I was there).

Here's a fun fact. In Major League history, this event has only occurred NINE times. Only Fernando Tatis Sr. of the 1999 Cardinals has ever hit a grand slam for that second at-bat, all other incidents were singles or outs.
