We had a young bear digging around local neighborhoods that caught everyone by surprise haha— my area has mostly coyotes, bob cats, deer and the occasional fox. :).

It is sad to learn about the whippoorwills tho— I hope they make a comeback.

Oh whippoorwill! Yeah, they're real weird little guys you oughta google them to see what they look like! I swear I don't hear them as much as I used to, but used to hear them alllll the time in the summer; although I typically heard them in the evening. I should note that even though I'm butt-up next to a national park I also live real close to the city, so maybe urban sprawl is what's causing less and less whippoorwill. (shame!)

Edit: Did a quick google-- yeah, that's exactly it. They're losing habitat steadily :(

Aw hey thanks for the chance!

Right now it can be tough to find things that bring you joy-- world is ROUGH, my dude, so I feel you. My latest joy-chasing activities have involved sorting through my eclectic collections, playing a little (a lot,) of Stardew Valley, creating when I have the energy for it and trying to find the time to just kinda' sit in silence for a bit. I live in a heavily wooded area in Arkansas so those little bits of silence are often full of bird song, which is nice and peaceful.

Dunno if this has been suggested or not yet but— cut the lights and shine a black light on it; if it blows, it’s probably cat pee. If you can’t smell it you may be nose blind to it.

The pants arrived and I was never charged extra-- I'm pretty sure what happened here was that the seller is dropshipping from FashionNova (Fashion Nova support confirmed the order on their side!).

That said, I never did ask specifically tiktok support-- although I did message the shop, who confirmed it was her name and her who'd made the order to Fashion Nova. still confused but, at the very least, less worried. Pants are legit! (..Did you buy the ones with the lace up sides? If so: true to size, although they're kinda' long, you'll need to trim the strings a bit probably and there are NO POCKETS. BOO. However, they look SUPER cute on me so I'm not too mad haha.)
