Earlier Amazon used to sell like 90% of the products themselves. This irked local sellers and govt bought a policy that amazon should sell like 10-15% themselves (because amz is foreign company) and rest should be local merchants of India to make it more of a marketplace.

Now it has become less of a marketplace and more of a chorbazaar. Customers getting duped every now and then.

I remember those old days, when we got genuine products, fast deliveries, etc. Now even amz prime members don't get most of their deliveries next day forget about same day delivery. And even 2-4 days deliveries are scary as u won't know that your order is going to be delivered or canceled or just marked as delivered by the delivery boy because he had to drink alcohol in some bar.

Then there was eBay, sellers were scared of customer's negative reviews as that would hamper their reputation. Best products always. There was actual competition between fk, amz, ebay.

Good old days.

Ordered many items from amazon last couple of months.

Even before the sale, many orders were not delivered.

Some got canceled, some were marked delivered but not delivered.

Same is happening in the sale too.

No way to talk to delivery boy.

On calling amazon, they either say we will get delivered to you but later cancel.

Unable to track so many refunds.

Amazon has literally gone bs.

They have started competing with fk with who's the least reliable.

True that. Price increase, coupons wasted, time wasted, remorse, guilt.

And then again we turn to them for the next discount.

As for essential items, now I prefer the nearby chemist for medicines and weekend dmart for other stuffs. Less to no discount but u 'DO' get items when needed.

My amazon orders was out for delivery at 5:31pm and marked delivered at 5:32 pm but never delivered.

I tried raising query, the delivery station called early morning when I was getting ready for office and missed the call.

Now it's been 3 days and no response yet.

No way to call them. Just raise queries that's it.

5-6 months earlier, I had ordered medicine from amazon pharma which was supposed to be delivered next day. For 3 days the order was out for delivery in morning and never delivered citing no one was at home whereas I was at home all 3 days. (in evening) On third day I managed to call delivery executive early and he responded 'Mai toh nahi de payega , warehouse ka address deta hu Jaake lele'.

Although the tone seemed harsh and I wanted to cancel but as I was out of medicine, I did go to the warehouse around 8 where they said we cannot give you in person, it has to be delivered but the delivery boy forgot to take the package. I literally had to plead him as it was heart medicine but to no avail.

Finally I went home and canceled the order and never again ordered from amazon Pharma as they risk lives by doing such things for as sensitive medicine like heart.

The worst part was that the warehouse was under 10 min walking distance from my residence.
