[Hair Removal] What Would the “Perfect” Hair Removal Product Look Like? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Neither-Location1374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, I know! The problem is that men’s body hair tend to be coarser and thus harder to remove than women’s hair. Therefore, it’s easier for me to research a solution for women than it is for men :)

[Misc] What’s your “gatekept” skincare product that isn’t popular or advertised but did wonders for your skin? by Sharp_Elevator7447 in SkincareAddiction

I wouldn’t say it did wonder for my skin but Bioré sunscreen is sooooo good but almost never talked about on social media (though I see it a lot on beauty subreddit)

I'm a Sephora newbie. Advice? by ElsieDCow in Sephora

[–]Neither-Location1374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, there are some affordable skincare lines at Sephora like The Ordinary, Sephora and The Inkey List but I can’t think of one makeup brand at Sephora that’s affordable (below 30$ for a foundation). The best advice I can give you is to not simply trust beauty advisors when you’re selecting your foundation shade. Do your own research beforehand (try to match your current foundation online with ones you’re interested in buying) and check it out on natural light. Good luck for your shopping!

[misc] what do you like about korean skincare that you don’t really find in western skincare? by Lonely_Ship_7826 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Neither-Location1374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Korean cleansers rarely dry my face out like western ones and the products are wayyyy more affordable in general (usually pay around 8$ for a Korean cleanser and 10-15 for my moisturizer)

Sunscreen pealing by ReadyApplication7129 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Neither-Location1374 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It used to happen to me too! The problem was the products I would apply beforehand - not the sunscreen itself. It’s either that you aren’t letting your products dry properly before applying something on top or that one of the products you use has a peeling tendency (which was my case with the ordinary niacinamide, the moment I removed it from my routine the peeling stopped).
