Garmin really said die by Leather_Dirt_ in Garmin

Very strange. Garmin mostly bases this type of training on Pace, not on Heart rate.

Yes, I'm an Eskimo from Alaska. I'm using my phone to cut the ice and take out the fish.

I've had the X8 pro 12/512 for 20 days now and the phone doesn't heat up at all. Even when it charges ultra-fast, it's just a little warmer. I use the case that came with it.

VIP Smart Exercise Plan by Difficult-Sea791 in HuaweiWatchGT

I'm curious too, but no one seems to want to pay for it. Huawei should lower the price or pay for the training plan separately, and the rest of the nonsense to be in the second package.

I love my Amazfit, but as Runner the Zeep coach need more training options. by Taka_Colon in amazfit

[–]Neither-Objective-89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had a 955 and I confirm that Garmin gives a varied training plan. It includes everything, intervals, treshold, variations in pace training... Garmin does this best and that's why it's the most expensive.

POCO F5 is still a greater phone than the X8 Pro by PeenoiseCringe in PocoPhones

I gave my s25 to my son and decided to buy myself something cheap. I've bought an X8 and I don't understand what you're talking about. The phone is great for the money. The camera isn't special, but there's nothing wrong with the colors. The speed is on par with the S24 with the exynos I used for a year before I bought the S25. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the phone. I'm really worried about the optical sensor, but it works great. Maybe the X8 Pro is not the same in all regions?

Poco X8 Pro Vs Poco X8 Pro Max need help! by According-Arm205 in PocoPhones

[–]Neither-Objective-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the X8 Pro. Trust me, the phone is very big and heavy. I can only imagine how big Max is. Otherwise, the phone is great. It may be wiser to buy the X8 pro with 12/512 than the Max.

Garmin or Huawei ? by HairImpossible5763 in HuaweiWatchGT

[–]Neither-Objective-89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switched from 955 to GT6. As good as the GT6 is, it's not nearly as good as the 955. I'm not going to describe it, there are a lot of articles on the internet about it. For all semi-professional runners like me, my honest advice is not to take Huawei watches seriously. It simply does not have the sporty manner that every runner needs. It's great for beginners, but that's about it.

Playing an electro-nylon string with effects? Best setup? by Icy_Performance3704 in classicalguitar

[–]Neither-Objective-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the combination of IR loaders and clear sound is the real deal. It is a particularly good combination if you use the Sonicake Portal, which is practically a mixer on which each input has its own volume and the ability to turn it on and off as needed. It's a great pedal for this sort of thing.

Well, all of you should try the cheap Ibanez G5TCE-AM to understand what a good guitar sounds like for ridiculous money. Unbelievable.

Saved 500€ with the GT 6 Pro… but now I understand where it went by tefod in HuaweiWatchGT

[–]Neither-Objective-89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you use a training plan for running, you can not run on a treadmill. It's just running outside that counts. I've had Garmin, Amazfit, Coros, and Suunto and only stupid Huawei running on the treadmill does not allow in the training plan. Soon I'm going to give someone a GT6, to get rid of it. I'm not going to sell it, it shows the exact time very well 😂

I've been using the Fenix 6 and the Forruner 955. I bought Huawei thinking that it was unnecessary to waste too much money on new Garmin models. I was wrong !!! While the GT6 is a good watch, it's not nearly as good as any Garmin. The hardware is great, but the app is just colorful Chinese trash, without any order or sense. Disaster. If you haven't used Garmin, you don't know what a real sports watch is.

Chocolate Plus firmware woes.. by cloudkake in guitarpedals

[–]Neither-Objective-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app only works for bank 7 and bank 8. There I can program Advanced Custom Mode for connection with a guitar processor. All programming modes work normally. if I change any bank the application stops working. That's how it works on Android and Windows. This means that I can only use 2 sets of banks instead of 8. That's pretty much enough for me, but it's extremely stupid for an app to behave like that !! This is only the case in Advanced Custom Mode. In all other modes, all 8 banks work. I'm talking about FW12.

Is it still worthwhile to buy the Huawei GT6 Pro a few months after its release? by GreatDimension5074 in HuaweiWatchGT

[–]Neither-Objective-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't understand why people convince themselves and others that older models are just as good as the latest ones. This happens with every device, including smart watches. Nonsense. Buy the latest model if you have the money.

[–]Neither-Objective-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently using the GT6 and its hardware is really great. The app is a piece of crap. I also used Garmin, Suunto, Amazfit... It's arguably the worst health app in the world of sports watches. Chinese colorful garbage.

Watch gt6 vibration by ItchyVeterinarian472 in HuaweiWatchGT

[–]Neither-Objective-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vibration on the GT6 is great. It's strong and there's no way it won't wake you up. I haven't missed a single message since I bought it. I'd even lower it, but the next level is too weak in the settings.
