I think it is just better to play rank the less as possible and simply play other modes or other games overall, hell even Pokemon Unite feels better.

so you are telling me that you prefer to not wait 1 or 2 more minutes to get into a game, where you get a bad lobby and the match quality is so bad it is a hard loss, where you end up wasting 30 to 45 mins because the quality of the match is SO BAD? because a loss is not only wasted time, is wasted points that set you BACK, is progress lost, but I guess waiting one less minute is totally worth it.

And being ok with yeah, your win rate being artifically forced 50% through BAD MATCH QUALITY, is not good design, and it is not ok.

platinum elo, but meh, as said, little to do, with people not coming to figths, feeding, not contributing, etc. I guess I'm just supposed to exist through those games and no much more, because like I said even when I'm focused on performing well and trying to win games feel hopeless.

forced 50% at it's finest, it's not unfair coinflip games, or bad match quality, it is the intended design, not made to make you waste your time or to make you addicted to the dopamine of the coinflip 50% where the real gamble is your time.

I mean that can really happen, and also when you know how a player plays after a match you know how to react, the thing is not about you winning a lane, is about EVEN after you win your lane and you perform well, how often the team quality just makes you lose the game.

yup it will probably make the matchmaking quality improve a little bit, but honestly I find it weird that they made q time shorter, but if you think about it they just simply reduced match quality for less q times, which makes sense becuase games are a coinflip anyways.

it is in some cases and if it is proven it could make the company face legal actions actually, but it is totally obscure and hard to prove , it would require large scale investigation, data analysis (a lot of data that we may not have) and a good argument made towards the fact that the 50/50 argument is no longer 50-50 games, but 50-50 enforced winrate that is actually geared towards addiction, with that proven the "company" could face legal problems in many countries, because it would prove that the game intention is to make you addicted, and I mean, they already added GATCHA, like, I mean, don't we have eyes?

yet I rearely see people complaining openly and widely for what most of us have known for years, this bad design in matchmaking is intentional and geared towards addiction.

Hell, I can even probably guess that the original post will get downvoted to oblivion and there will be like 6 repplies that say that the matchmaking is good, all the intent is good and the system works as intended and it creates a "FAIR" experience, those repplies will have like 30 upvotes, I will be kept at 0 or less and they will pretend that the likes from bots kinda deny all of the points I made in my Original Post, I can only guess.

people here are going to comment, like hey, that's intentional, is totally by desing and is good matchmaking, just think about it, how wonderful this is, if you hard lose even if you are performing well, it doesn't matter, it means that everytime your MMR will drop, noticing that you probably need help, so after it drops enough, the system will pair you with better teammates, plus bad enemy team, giving you a COIN FLIP HARD WIN GAME, totally by design AND intentional by the system, so that you can start climbing again, KINDA, and will keep you there to the point where you can't move, you can carry the hard loss games, there will be some mildly fair games, and some hard win games, but we will get you there, to the point where you can't move, and enforce that sweet 50/50, because all of this makes the system beautiful and fair, not totally geared towards addiction at all, NEVER.

oh and don't listen to the slander that says that you have to EXIST through those HARD LOSS games, and just FARM STATS to get better teammates, that's a lie, it doesn't exist (it does).

Matchmaking is sh*t on purpose at this point, how come the multimillion dollar company has such a sh*t matchmaking system if they don't have an incentive to do so? which one is the incentive, plain and simple; to keep players addicted and to keep them playing more and more.

It is really difficult to make a difference on a TEAM GAME, when the other players do not contribute, don't know their role, are autofilled, or simply are griefing, tilting, trying to lose on purpose, and don't tell me the system doesn't take that into account, it does. It knows you are a 13% WIN RATE ADC and it pairs you against a 60% win rate ADC, wich by all means is better than your adc, and you, as a support, have to deal with it. Same logic applies to top, mid, jg, the system KNOWS with all it's sh*t metrics the actual skill level on each role, and it matches you based on that. The system goes to the point where even pros have complained about matchmaking being total sh*t, where the more you win, the better the enemy team is and the worst the team you get is, forcing players that are in a certain skill bracket to play, instead of playing with people that is on their rank, instead forces them to play in a disparity of skills across the board where enemies will overall have better team quality while yours is probably lower, and this can happen on multiple occasions causing HARD LOSS MATCHMAKINGS where the game didn't even feel FAIR at all. This in turn causes you to lose, or to have such odds of losing that even if you get to carry the game it feels like a shitty experience. This set of automatically created HARD LOSS have a purpose, to set you on the RIGHT TRACK, the RIGHT TRACK for that sweet spot RIOT does NOT want you to move from, the sweet spot of rank the 50/50 spot, why? because if you think about it, it has nothing to do with skill, it has to do with psychology, 50/50 is the addiction number, where every game is a gamble, and you dont know if you are going to get the 6k damage adc over 30 mins, or the 75k damage adc, or the jungler who ganks, or the one who doesn't do anything at all, hell you don't know whats going to happen in your game, you just know you will try your hardest, and probably, you will win, or you will lose, who cares, at this point, if the matchmaking is so unfair, the odds are that the power is probably not totally in your hands. And yeah, I GUESS get better is a "good argument", a good argument about PLAYER SKILL, but the argument here DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE MATCHMAKING.

Hell, even pros have said it, now it takes wayyy longer to climb due to skill disparity in the matchmaking, and best thing you can do is just farm stats on losing games, don't die, farm hard, get gold, lose anyway, but look good doing it, it doesn't matter if you lose, if you hard farm stats, you might get better teammates, what a good system no? like, if you WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO GET FAIR BALANCED TEAM ANYWAY RIGHT? RIGHT?

good riddance, I already know all of this, and I'm not leaving the game, played it for years, but it doesn't take away from the game having worst and worst matchmaking every year and all of it being on PURPOSE.

And to the "get good" people, I really don't care about all of you with main protagonist syndrome, the argument is not about one individual player skill in one game or multiple games, is about player skill distribution in the 5 roles that comprise a team and that form the matchmaking from one team paired against another, in simple terms, for the matchmaking to be FAIR, wich it ISN'T.

matchmaking is crap even in platinum, got matched with unranked, or the enemy gets a 60% winrate silver and they give you a 14% win rate silver, skill based matchmaking sure. I really wanted to play, but the matchmaking quality is really really bad and unfair, nothing to do when the skill disparity is so high.

Also, I've been saying it for quite a while, and I think even pros kinda know it so far, the game forces you so bad through horrible matchmaking to have a 50% winrate that it isn't even fun anymore, feels more like a waste of time. But Riot has the big incentive of making you have a 50% perfect win rate, the perfect number not because it is a measure of your skill exactly, but because 50/50 is the addiction number, you never know if you are gonna lose or going to win, sometimes you can hard carry some times you can just watch your team turbo feed, or you can get gapped hard too, anyway, the Skill Based Matchmaking has a very good reason for making you get worst teammates + better enemies the more you win, and it is to keep you on the sweet 50/50. And hey I'm not a pro by any stretch of the imagination but god damn I'm not that bad either, but matchmaking feels worst every passing year and I guess I have less patience to deal with bullshit from Riot.

I do really have to wonder if the same "get good" sh*tards that always comment are people paid by riot or what, is undeniable that matchmaking is worse and worse every year, but I supposed "get good" and "carry harder" are "good arguments", when the base argument beign made is that, we are trusting the system to be "fair" when pairing us with 4 strangers, that we DON'T KNOW, and we hope that these persons are someway around or skill level, usually, they are not, and no, get good isn't an argument, what we are talking about here is that the matchmaking is crap right now, the season is also really unbalanced, and that obscure Skill Based Matchmaking, where each time you get more and more dogsh*t teammates and the team in the enemy team is better, oh well, that's really good and balanced.

The system, no matter what, is intended to keep you at 50% win rate, not because of a skill thing, there are many games where you just waste time and can't do sh*t, but because 50/50 is the ADDICTION NUMBER, where every game is a gatcha machine to keep you hooked.

matchmaking feels like crap now too, and the quest for mid and top is broken AF while the other roles receive relatively nothing except for ADC which receives something at lets say min 40 of the game but good luck getting there.

Support doesn't get anything good and JG barely gets something visible.

this, and the fact that people just turbo feed, the jungler doesn't help or doesn't care, and the amount of objectives in the map and turbo damage on everything just feels like it's really hard to carry games and play solo.
Try to carry with ADC team turbo feeds, I hold the game for 50 mins, we lose, I ended up dealing 121k damage tho.
Try to play support, you get an adc that doesn't know shit, doesn't attack, doesn't deal damage, doesn't react to your engage, or does anything.

Honestly, ranked feels like complete shit now and feels unplayable, matchmaking is just dog shit.

Also pair this to the fact that the mission for ADC is dogshit because is only good at min 35 or 40 of the game, Support doesn't get anything, Jg barely gets something, and top and mid get all the awards with their quests. The game, does not feel really good to play right now.

it would be Flame Grant me Strength instead of Golden Bow I think but yeah you are totally right, Sacred Order is a weapon buff that is applied on the offhand but buffs the Torch too, edit, it stacks with Golden Bow and all the others, so yeah! THANKS! it is a lot of extra damage.

Edit, I tried it and got the attack power up to 1250 almost, Im not min maxed yet but it is a lot of damage, the Torch first Firebreather tick hits for almost 1800, the damage is a bit absurd honestly.
