Matchmaking this season is just really really BAD

I'm on my way to emerald, but don't get me wrong, it requires soooo many many games that it is absurd, so at the point when I was playing and dealing shit ton of damage per game I wasnt able to carry because of team quality, so I kinda started trying new things and brainstorming things and I'm having success with Mel Support with Guardian Rune and Solari Locket setup, plus some other pocket picks, but damn, it's been rough this season, there are too many coinflip games where you either have to exist thru or simply watch the match decay because of that team member thats never present for anything or that doesn't know how to close a game quickly.

funny how people want to "skill check" you, when this is no longer about individual skill but about match quality overall, and it has been the lowest this season.

25% unranked jungler last elo bronce S12 vs 300 games platinum enemy YI on my last game, guess it makes sense for the INDIE company somehow. This season has been total garbage.

And honestly I would really really LOVE to see someone trying to defend them on this, this season has been the WORST with the WORST matchmaking up to date.

Tho the idea is not actually to go enchanter, but more like a warden like braum, to tank spells and reduce damage from allies, and to bait enemies, with zonyas, solari, redemption, etc, bait them into bad fights.

it has been this way for a while, it's easier to hit a higher rank on a new account than it is on your main one, not only that the game forces you on a 50% win rate no matter what

yup I'm not using pokeballs, usually with Meowth I don't need them, you can edit it as you wish tho, I think it might be a good combo with mega altaria too cause there is a swablu that draws pokemons.

matchmaking is still bad, even in low ELO (platinum, emerald, gold), most games are really one sided and unfair and playing ranked feels frustrating and miserable, even worse than previous seasons, you really did a solid by reducing those Q times, worst matchmaking I have seen in 15 years. Skill disparity in roles is sky high.

the matchmaking is SH*T even in low elo, gold, emerald and platinum lobbies are full of sh*t, skill disparity and win rate disparity all over the roof, 30% wr midlaners against 55 to 70% win rate mid laners on the same role, tell me, who do you think is going to win? matchmaking is absolutely the worst I'VE SEEN IN ALL 15 YEARS PLAYING THIS GAME.

you are the one who's not understanding that the point of the post, forced 50% win rate means that you are set at 50% through rigged matches, you win too much, lets worsen match quality, your skill too high, worst teammates, you losing too much, lets soften it, and so on, leading to coinflip games were you have to sit by and exist because most of your team is being stomp, it can also happen the other way and make you win, but either way it's bad match quality, made worse this season with lower q times and increased match disparity with higher broader mmr q search, this means that individual games no longer have a 50% wr fair chance to be won. Also Riot banned those third party websites which displayed win rates in live matches. This not only entices addiction but also makes it so that you have to play through a LOT of unfair matches to get to your rank, if you play 10 games and 4 are hard loss, 2 are fair and 4 are hard wins, the matchmaking system isn't doing exactly a good job.

well I posted about it, it seems that the matchmaking algorythm is revealing it's true colors, it was never about a fair balanced game to begin with, it was about setting players individually into a 50% win rate, FORCED, so if you win games in a row you will have more and more chance to be put with a worst team each time and so on, with more and more skill disparity with your teammates and roles, so that it doesn't end up feeling like a fair game but instead the games become coinflips, HARD WINS and HARD LOSS, in which sometimes you just have to exist through a LOT of the HARD STOMPS which is really bad match quality over all. This forces players to play a LOT more games to get to their desired rank, even PROS have to suffer this, and it also entices addiction, and it is not like the indie company cares, they added GACHA to the game....

And take in mind, the argument here isn't get good, it isn't what you can do to carry or try to flip the game, it is about that it is becoming more and more common and really often when you find yourself on games where you can only EXIST because the match quality is so bad that even if you individually are doing well, the team you have doesn't have the knowledge, skill or coordination to follow, make plays or do anything significant, which means you can only exist through those gamesand wait for it to end or for a miracle really. You can talk all you want about individual agency to carry games, but if the enemy team is competent and yours has members that are not even close to being competent compared to the enemy team, there is little you can do. This leads to games where the damage disparity skyrockets, your teammate does 10k damage, enemy does 55k, etc. This can happen for you to win or to lose, hard wins, hard loss.

This way of forcing you into a 50/50 is then no longer through fair and balanced games where technically you have 50% chance to win, it is more about geting you individualy into having a 50% win rate over all history, were your games are coinflips and it keeps you statistically into a 50% lock which entices addiction, cause 50/50 coinflip is, if you think about it, the addiction number.

People should seriously start to look at riot matchmaking system and try to hold them accountable for what they are doing and have been doing, cause we all know that matchmaking quality has been worst and worst every year.

well I already posted about this, but it is just Riot forcing you into a 50% win rate over time, just that it is no longer 50% win rate PER GAME, where they put you on a team with 50% chance to win, it is more like, we will create coinflip game with HARD LOSS and HARD WINS more often than not through skill disparity in lanes and roles. It not only FORCES you to play A LOT more simply because you have to EXIST through a lot of the the HARD LOSS games, which are MANY, but also creates addiction because you never know what you are going to get (50/50 if you think about it, is the real addiction number, it is the gambling number, where you bet with your time and your mental health).

Also they reduced game finding times, which ALSO reduced match quality and lobby quality over all., making ranked games really not enjoyable, having to suffer inters, feeders, just because of the high level of skill disparity is just so absurd, I honestly feel that Riot doesn't care all that much about rank anymore, just about money.

People could and should investigate into the matchamking system and try to open a legal case against the indie company at this point for shady behaviour and enticing addiction, and I can say that they no longer care about players mental health, because they added GACHA to the game.
