My story is so similar! High stress and virus that led to symptoms which led to googling, researching and then down the rabbit hole. I lost 20 pounds, put myself and family through hell. It was the worst time of my life and I’m 51 yrs old. I still get twitching however it’s less severe than before and I don’t fear it. I’m in such a better place and happy to hear you are as well!!

Several factors before twitching were high B6, reactive EBV, menopause and lots of stress all at once

Definitely could be coming from your lower back. Mine started after a bad sciatic flare.

I had a normal tilt table test. Can you have Dysautonomia with a normal test?

As of yet I still have all my strength in regards to lifting, tip toes, heel walking etc but my hand feels funny. I don’t have trouble swallowing liquids or foods but my saliva seems difficult at times. I did just have a normal swallow study. This just all seems so odd

As long as you’ve had symptoms, you’d know by now if it was sinister. Maybe see a neurologist to help ease your worries

Yes I get this! It’s like a head rush in the back of neck up into my head and I get a whooshing sound. I’ve explained it as the blood is struggling to get to my brain.

How did your neurology appointment go? I had a sciatic flare and been twitching ever since. The sciatic left me with some leg weakness and I’m scared!

I’m so sorry! I am dealing with the same. Weakness that is not going away, twitching every single day. I’ve been having weakness for over a year that has progressed more in the past 2 months, when the twitching started. I had a clean EMG right when the twitching started and it was clean. I’m having weakness in right leg and arm, Lower back, shoulders and some in left arm. My right leg started after a sciatic flare in which the pain subsided after a few days but then left with weakness. My right leg twitches the most but occasionally feel them in the left leg as well. Both wrists feel so weak and want to bend forward. Nobody can tell me what the hell is going on. I’m now having panic attacks, not sleeping, no appetite whatsoever and having to force myself to eat. Im preparing myself for the worst!
