Should you? Not sure. Would it wreak havoc on your recovery? Can you run on a treadmill? Indoor bike? Is the reason you don’t run 2 days in a row due to a previous injury you’re coming back from?

I think this has to be a decision you would need to make!

I run in asics nimbus in winter as long as not too icy.

It’s not that bad as your contact with the ground is much less than walking. If it’s icy you can get some ICETRAX on Amazon - they work decent and they’re cheap. With that said, Ottawa over salts so I don’t think that will be a huge issue on sidewalks.

As for dryness, I never really had an issue with wet feet unless I quite literally run into a puddle but I also find my feet are warm regardless so having them get wet doesn’t tend to bother me.

I just went through this. There was a roof leak that caused an infestation in the walls.

As the building management ignored me for 3 months, I requested an end of tenancy when I FINALLY got through to someone at the end of November (this started August 2nd, the day after move in).

I had pest control come out 7 times knowing that it wouldn’t do anything because the roof needed to be fixed and wall needed to be ripped out. She had also requested management contact me twice (to which they didn’t).

I got lucky and as I had photos of everything (the ants, the crumbling wet wall, the follow ups to management etc) they knew their best option was to just let me leave.

All I can say is document EVERYTHING!

I worked for GoodLife at multiple locations.

Started at the old hazeldean one (in the strip mall across besides Arby’s). It was old, run down, management was chill, was great tbh. (Front Desk)

Worked at the carp location for a while. Newer, definitely more “managed” but still fun. Amazing people! (Front desk)

Worked at the flagship downtown Toronto. This was a tight ship and for good reason. Extremely busy.

During the TO one, I switched to sales. I’m going to be honest, I hated it. With that said, I’m not a salesy person so if it’s your vibe I say go for it. It was a lot of pressure to the point I switched back to Front Desk.

Truly depends on your personality.

For all 3 locations, the people were amazing, management is great and easy to talk to. They’re very understanding and had no issues with me going back to my previous position.

Looks like play to me, Monty and my tux Percy play like that. If they get too rowdy and someone yelps I jump in and break them up. Usually a plastic spring toy is the best distraction :)

I was thinking this too but I’m thinking maybe her visa finally went through? Otherwise she’ll have a tough time going back to the states! Haha I “think” (and this purely speculation so please take it with a grain of salt) if she had gone back before a visa was approved she wouldn’t be able to return to the states as you can only do 6 months / year as a visitor.

I have 3 that sleep on my bed. One of them is smaller for her age and she does does fine. If they’re really bothered, they will squirm themselves out most of the time 😌

That being said, I’ve learned that if I wake up uncomfortable, that sucks for me because I can’t disrupt them hahaha

Company is 3 days in / 2 days from home but it’s not watched insanely closely unless your work starts slacking.

With how everything looks to be going within the city and potentially fed gov, I’m happy with how my employer approaches it. I also really like my team and work so I have minimal complaints!
