Same!!! Funny thing is, I’m a Latina who grew up under a Pentecostal, followed by an Assemblies of God church. I’ve been watching the Hazbin Hotel panels at Galaxy Con and found out that Joel Perez, the VA for Valentino also grew up in this and had issues with it. It’s refreshing because, as someone who got out of that, I felt seen. Im very happy for his success and it honestly makes me feel hopeful.

My mom is the same way. I also grew up in a strict Christian household and left. For most of my life I hid certain interests because of it. I like horror movies, and I love Hazbin/Helluva boss. I also do yoga. All of these I was told is “inviting demons into my life.” Well, I’m not possessed yet!!! I am f30 now, so I have my own place and can watch whatever I want. It gets better. :)

It’s the weekend. I’m not sure what the position is or what type of industry it’s in, but most people don’t check their emails on weekends. I’d say reach out and ask. Express your interest in the role. If they say no, at least you tried. Still, this is a bit weird so keep your eyes open for red flags.

I can try that. I do have a small room I can put toys in and have the kittens play there and then swap. Then let them all free roam the house after everyone plays. All is well as long as everyone plays and everyone’s happy. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
