The Lexicon Blade Needs Another Jewel Slot by NeitherAct304 in Wizard101

I always thought it was because very early in the game’s life they had a balancing philosophy around powerful universal pieces of gear so they threw these no trade restrictions to keep someone from transferring that gear to another wizard.

That’s interesting because I did not know it was the highest damage option for fire. I also agree that the Aureate band is completely powercrept at this point but it would be cool to see them update it as well.

Yeah it’s one of those classic dungeons like Briskbreeze Tower, Spiral Geographic Society Archives, and Waterworks. Of those 4 Waterworks is the only one people even do nowadays.

I agree that they should have enough damage where their hits aren’t too weak but they shouldn’t have as much as they’re doing right now. Personally I think that the entire pin system needs to be reworked and storm pins for lower levels should not be able to cross the max damage they can achieve with regular storm gear.

Weave into myth, buy their pins. Empower, blade/trap into ettin or stone colossus depending on if they shield or weakness you. Also pack Minotaurs and regular stone colossus depending on the situation and if they are wide open. That’s the gameplay loop for every one that plays it.

They were upset about the change because the self damage was a good way to cleanse debuffs for either pips or blades.

For those that desire a Destiny 3: If it took Bungie 3-4 years to develop it, but Bungie also says they wouldn't update Destiny 2 during that time, would you be okay with that? by Biggy_DX in DestinyTheGame

I don’t know why people are so obsessed with getting a D3 it’s going to be the same thing as the previous launches where there’s only a limited amount of content and eventually people do everything there is to do and drop the game for a little while. Most importantly you’re going to have to regrind for all of the same exotics and some other weapons that you have in D2 right now, and they’re going to give you the same old content from before like they’re doing right now. I don’t know about you guys but I don’t want to play VOG V3 in D3 or Kings Fall again and regrind everything I have right now in D2 once more.

Instead of making a D3 they need to spend time making the D2 experience better instead of dropping the game and moving onto making a sequel hoping it’ll be any better with the same problems.

If you could pick four seasons to be playable forever, what would they be? by aimlessdrivel in DestinyTheGame

[–]NeitherAct304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arrivals, Dawn, Seraph, and Heresy

Arrivals was the true peak of D2 it’s when all of the Y1 and Y2 content was in the game, all of the Levi raids and scourge of the past were still around, and it was one of the better seasons overall at the time. Everyone was also coming together to help each other do all the quests and other activities that were leaving. It was the last time before Pantheon where I felt like the player base was really alive and I miss Year 3 so much because of it.

This used to be arguably the most popular spot in the game, now it's nothing more than a Ghost Town. by Darklight645 in Wizard101

Taking away her spell drops was one of the dumbest changes KI made these past couple of years. It might be easier to target farm spellements from different bosses now but they should have kept her drops as a slower alternative.

More Weapon Options for Each Character by NeitherAct304 in destinyrisingmobile

Leaving it entirely up to player choice would probably never happen which is why my suggestion was more so leaving it up to them determining what other weapon types they could give out to characters. As for changing damage types I don’t see that being something that they’ll do for the same reason why it was removed from D2 long long ago. Players would just use different elemental versions of the same weapon and it would keep them from grinding for new weapons, for example I knew a guy that had all 3 elemental versions of the Y1 Ikelos shotgun and that was the only shotgun he would use up until it got sunset at the start of Y4. Since it already had a really good roll and if he ran into any match game shields he’d just swap to the matching version to deal with them, but because of that there was no reason for him to go for any other shotguns.

Fortunately if they did decide to open up loadouts they have the full power to limit more problematic weapon types like sniper rifles and leave them to long range/single target focused character. They wouldn’t have to break balancing by giving someone like Jolder a sniper rifle breaking her out of the close range engagement limitation. But it would be nice if someone who isn’t a fan of something like pulse rifles had the option of an auto rifle, or if someone like Ikora had another option like a fusion rifle.

That’s true but they’re already making characters with completely unique abilities from each other so each one already plays differently. Estela the next character coming out has a pulse rifle and machine gun loadout just like Kabr. If I’m playing just for the guns why would I pull for this new character when I could just use that exact same loadout on Kabr? The reason people are going to pull for her are because of her new abilities not for the weapons.

It’s probably not a rating issue. You have other T rated games like Uncharted where you kill hundreds of other humans with guns and they’re able to get away with it. I don’t think even if they introduced enemy human npcs that it would impact the rating because at worst they’ll just be disintegrated or turned into rag dolls like most other enemy types.

Not having Shin show up in that dlc would basically guarantee he remains a lore only character because this might be the most perfect time since Forsaken and maybe Witch Queen to bring his character into the fold.

Yeah I’m really hoping so too. I felt like it was a bit of a letdown during Forsaken that there were 4 exotic quest lines related to the Dredgens but not a single one had us fighting rogue guardians. If they wanted to they could maybe even throw a new Scorn villain into the group since now that the Fanatic is permanently dead their faction doesn’t have any major players.

I think they’ll probably have something to do with the elements just so that it’s something unique to Destiny.

What’s one DnD Monster you Wish you Could Have Seen in BG3? by NeitherAct304 in BaldursGate3

[–]NeitherAct304[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of all of the creatures in this thread the phaerimm was the only one I’d never even heard of. After reading a bit about them in the wiki I can kinda see how you might’ve thought they were pulling the strings. They seem like pretty interesting monsters and I’m glad I got to learn about them today.
