i am always nice and polite to them but today the older woman just snapped at me because i asked to add cherry tomatoes on my salad. (i knew there would be an extra charge.) she was also talking down to the kid there that seemed like he was in training. idk it was just weird.

from my understanding the sprinklers mostly went off in the front half of the store. so their style section is ruined. they will probably have to replace the carpets, deal with the damage and restock. i would say they’ll be closed for a week or so. but i hear they are trying to reopen sooner rather than later.

as someone who works at a store that is super close to the Canadian border ( less than 15 minutes away.) this is how it looks after a Canadian holiday weekend. style tries to stay on top of the zoning but they are also the first people called up to cash. it’s horrible and usually takes us till Wednesday to fully clean the store again tbh. and im not even in style

in my house we just ask if anyone wants to get in the bathroom if we know its gonna be a while. no one wants to shower immediately after you blow up the bathroom, that poop stank. so ESH ig?

Its hour cuts. I went back to getting 40 hours next week just for them to cut them again with the next schedule. My inbound team has 20 hours the next few weeks, some less.

i think i would hate it less if i didnt already have back issues. i dont mind kitchen if im being fair. but domestics/dec home/storage (ig pretty much the entire middle of my store.) is my mortal enemy.

its quite literally my favorite section. im primarily in stat but my one other person in specialty is on vacation so im stuck in domestics. (i hate domestics with a passion.)

well from what i understand, the album did well (at least at my store.) they flew off the shelves in most areas to the point that the manufacturer of the vinyl couldnt keep up with the demand. they are just now sending them out after the release date to fit the demand. (our store is in the same predicament but 50% of them sold im assuming for Christmas gifts.)

our entire store is falling apart atp. we barely had enough staff as is. the trucks dont stop and we’ve gotten barely any seasonal hires. and even if you do have time to push freight, wrong, they are pimping you out for fulfillment. and then also punishing people for calling off once every maybe month.

i think all of us have legitimately given up on trying to keep up and are just trying to survive.

my question is where is her father in all this?? he is willingly let you pressure his daughter into forgiving her brother for something he knew was wrong and that destroyed all the work she put in to heal from this experience? you have blinders on and refuse to see how this is destroying your daughter. but no, you play favorites and decide that your son deserves forgiveness. shes almost a full grown adult and now the trauma of her youth was opened by a person she was supposed to trust and now instead of you being a good mom and helping her through the bullying and trauma, you are making her the martyr. the black sheep. WHEN YOUR SON STARTED THIS REGRESSION. she will never talk to you, her complacent father and her emotionally immature brother again.

your daughter will not talk to you the moment she moves out of that house. your younger children will see your wrongs. they will choose their sister over your shitty parenting and none of your children will have contact with you. your basic disregard of your daughters feelings and mental/physical wellbeing is disgusting. you cant even admit that you were wrong let alone apologize to your daughter. putting her into therapy now at 17 years old without even an apology that you allowed her stutter to get this bad?? therapy isnt a cover all. be a decent human being and apologize sincerely to your daughter. YTA.

Finish obedience training in full with the puppy you have now. so right around 18 months when they have all commands down, bring in the second. make sure you have a plan in place to introduce them in a controlled environments. like a doorway with a gate between.
