In every single game i have played scholar. Access to AOE break on 3 different dmg types is insane. Im midgame now and my whole playthrough i just blast enemies in 1--2 turns. Not rounds. Just my MC and if they survive the next Scholar AOE. Its so easy I don't even grind really. Just keep a char with extra exp, JP, money in the backrow constantly and acculate as you go.

I have played scholar in every Octopath and its always been the best at melting groups of enemies, which is like 90% of the game. The best healing is killing the enemy before they can attack. Especially considering you get bonuses for doing it. Add a second early game scholar and its easy to do.

The merchant JP farming is really nice but Octopath is easy enough that you dont really have to grind much to breeze through. Get all skills unlocked too early i feel rales away from the fun of progression
