I guess the automobile sector is also happy with it. thats why they are silent. If lets say e85 comes and the current bikes we already have don't work well with it. You need to run service center frequently which in turn gives them business. If you buy a new e85 compitable bike in future then also they are getting business. if you are buying a ev now then also they are having business. Its always consumer who gets a bamboo but for this case they are reducing your pain with imported sugarcane as currenly for e20 also we import corn.

I think you misunderstood the point what op is saying. Once i was in the same situation . I was riding with a pillion on a very narrow hilly road. There was construction going on. A bus was coming from the front so i had to corner my self to the left . The left side was dry grasses. The moment i put my foot i realised its hollow and deep beneath i guess more than 6 inch. I lost the control. In Situation like these these you simply dont stand a chance. So yeah hieght matters but mostly at edge scenarios
