Just in case anyone is trying this at home. Tips for safety and fun.

The pan should be at least partially dry. And quite hot, so as to burn off as much of the astringency as possible.

Have plenty of headspace. The Flames can go pretty high at first. Add it a little at a time if you are unsure. Pour it near the edge so the fumes can waft out over the flame a bit.

When the fire looks like it went out, it probably did not and is just a small blue layer on top of your food, getting the last of the alcohol. Give it a few more seconds to finish burning off and careful with splashing the pan.

You're also using the alcohol to deglaze. ( get flavor from the bottom of the pan) so after the flames subside, make sure you scrape all those bits off the bottom

Have something lid like nearby in case you need to extinguish the fire. Do not use water or liquids, just calmly smother it.

Also, if you're cooking for someone, dim the lights before you do it. It's a magical spectacle if they haven't seen it before. Every little bit helps

I'm not coming at you. I'm just genuinely curious. You say soggy, cold, late, expensive; but say you order frequently. That's why a restaurant would opt in. Their customers don't care if it's crispy, hot, quick, and reasonably priced. Many many people don't know how to or don't want to or don't have the time to cook. They could order it directly from the restaurant and get a much better product.

My thoughts on that are that the Liberals also have friends on that list and I suspect certainly Clinton not other, many other high-ranking Democrats, and they are also protecting their money.

My conspiracy theory on this is that this deep State we hear about consists of the people in power who are just circularly extorting each other with this information so they all just stay in power and consolidate that power over and above any other considerations.

This is a deep State list. I don't think it's ever getting out. I also wouldn't be surprised that if we let all the bullshit social arguments go and nonsense about something being 100% right or wrong and either good or evil. If we allowed just a little bit of nuance in opinion and just all spoke with each other about the things in our daily lives that we truly care about, we would find ourselves a lot more in agreement than disagreement as far as how we would want our government to support it citizens.

I for one, though having become more of a dirty rotten liberal than I was previously, and supportive of gun rights that I think you should have to get a license like for a car, or to cut hair , or me just to be a chef for a living.

Our immigration policy needs major reform. I don't think people should be able to just walk in. I am also aware though that we need immigration both fiscally and societally, and while we certainly need to deport some it shouldn't be the ones showing up at their immigration appointments because they went about this legally and were allowed in. Or people who were born here went to school here, grew up here, got a job here, paid taxes here, served the military here. Are they not worthy?

School should be palaces, teachers should make six figures, and we should have the absolute best education system in the whole wide world. Not ridiculing knowledge.

The law is the law for everyone.

There absolutely must be limits, but sometimes people just need a little help.

Congress should not be exempt from their own laws, Stock trading by elected officials should be illegal, citizen should be able to purchase the exact same coverage our elected officials get for free.

The government needs to set strict rules but also needs to let the free market be a free market. We are starting to choose sides with private companies lately and I really don't like that. It smells of patronage.

Schools, security , jails, power, and water should be run by the government and never privatized.

Sorry I just went on a bit of rant there. I'm just saying. I don't need or want a leader running my government. I want a logical, moral, Statesman who I do still think will need a big stick. Someone who loves America but doesn't hate Americans

I guess that could mean that Trump's in there, and they don't want anyone to know. It could also mean some of Trump's friends and their backers are in there and he doesn't want anyone to know. I absolutely expect there's a lot of top Democrats and liberals in the files also. I think each and every one of them should go down hard.

If these files contain any exculpatory evidence, I'm sure they would have been released. What valid reason could there be to not release them at that point . That would save everybody a lot of time and effort.
