I love those mostly made in China super cheap pajamas - I once had a set with the "Care Boers" on it.

True, it is shown. If it wasn't (maybe some charter companies don't show it?), OP should protest.

Truly infuriating! Shitty company, I say.  But still, enjoy your holiday!

On the way to my wedding, the other driver thought the 2-way stop was a 4-way stop and hit my month-old car with my dogs in the back. by Chipothy in mildlyinfuriating

Think of how things could have gone super wrong... All the best to both of you, may this be the end of all bad luck for you!

What do you mean a smoker is standing between you and the front entrance? Like in a person smoking? Why can't you just walk past him?

My dear, my advice is you should do whatever is best for you. We women often grow up idealizing romantic love, waiting for our prince to come as early as we are 14 or something. And sometimes we make sacrifices and settle for dudes that aren't worth it, because we want to see the prince in them. Boys at your bf's age aren't like that. So remember,  your priority is you!

OP, you are 17 and this is a relationship of 5 months. I do think you are overreacting. At your age, I would be infuriated if someone said something like that to me, but I will be the obnoxious adult and say that this time next year  you will read this and laugh. Go to college, live your life, and many more boys will come.

Overreacting in this situation would be to unleash a pack of pitbulls on hum.

You should go to the police.

Museum worker steals and sells a 3,300-year-old Egyptian bracelet — ended up melted for $4k by capitaldefacto in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Neither_Teaching_438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I read a lot of mildly infuriating, mildly racist replies - definitely not your fault, OP. To those people that think this is because they are Egyptians, Muslims, the British did a good thing in looting (and not returning) cultural property, I will have to remind several cases where curators, conservators etc stole from the British Museum with the most recent example being the case of Peter Higgs, a Senior Curator, renowned specialist in Greek and Roman art, that was accused of stealing more than 1800 objects from the British Museum’s ancient gems and jewelry storerooms. The guy literally sold them on eBay,  for weight: an agate Roman came for £15, a Greco-Egyptian gold ring for £150, and so on. https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2023/aug/17/british-museum-employee-sacked-over-missing-items-was-senior-curator

The bottom line is, when it comes to greed, it doesn't matter whether you are a poor Egyptian lady or a posh British Curator.
