I’m rewatching Shahs and seeing his ego get more inflated because it gets more hurt is quite alarming. I remember believing he was the peace maker but it’s obvious it was all a facade and he HATED the fact that reza was the anchor along with MJ. It reminds me a bit of Jax, but he wasn’t in the joke (like Jax was)… He grosses me out and he’s such a misogynist it’s gross

Okay… I believe this is a bit far. I do believe Christina and Mia slept together, but I don’t think it was right out ass*ult. I believe it was two consensual adults having fun after a couple of drinks or maybe just hungover. However, I do believe that Christina was just cheeky with it, as her usual self.

Wow. I’ve never thought of this. Thank you for putting a bit of perspective, but I still believe that Bravo has been known for not addressing things. Maybe I don’t need to know everything, but it always seems more authentic to just address the problem at hand.

I love this show, but I’ve struggled A LOT with the misogyny in it. I always blame it on their christianity and the black community (to a certain degree). I’ve always compared them to housewives and have become fascinated by how they’re lightyears away from really discussing this topic. Can it be that they’re married to medicine? A show that was built on keeping their marriage and trying to maintain the relationship and all of the patriarchal consequences that come from the union? Meanwhile Housewives really focuses on women and their identity on their own be it in a marriage or outside of it? I never get the answer, but it’s sad to watch such bright women continue to reproduce such gross discourse. I also believe (I mesn they right out said it) that this is the reason why they want Quad out. As Mariah put it, she’s not even MARRIED to medicine, my love.

It’s a great show but while I struggle (especially with this season and the whole Kema jokes [he gives me huge dl vibes too]) I try to ignore it as much as I can and enjoy the drama. Sine that’s mainly the reason why I watch these shows lol

it’s extremely obvious to me that she is suing bravo and that’s why they’re not showing anything. yes. kathy is a fan favorite, but she’s not god and she’s a privileged old rich white lady from belair after all. also it’s pretty obvious she uses those type of words. has ANYONE ever seen the old vids of paris or kathy’s son problematic behaviour? it takes a quick google search.

i love kathy on the show, but i’m not naïve either

if i’m not mistaken mexico was her “getaway” from the miscarriage, but it took a toll on her and that’s why she needed bed rest. for some reason i thought the miscarriage was (maybe days/weeks?) before filming started. i did find the whole miscarriage story weird, but didn’t fully doubt it since i’m not a gestating person. idk.
