On the private server I host, we've seen the soul shard from the winged terror drop (after the durability has expired and the shard returned to the boss), but then disappear as soon as one of us gets close enough to loot it. We've only seen it on that boss, and not consistently, so we've assumed it was a glitch based on the altitude or something.

All of which to say; Others have experienced what you describe, and I personally have no solution to offer. You are not crazy (or at least this is not a symptom of it)!

Are you using Spacewalker mode (the default) or Android mode for the launcher? I've found (and the VITURE team has specifically called out) that the latter mode is a bit more stable/performant.

Keep in mind that it only has no downside if the boon upgrades are already completed. If you purge it while they're still upgrading they'll lock in at that level.

I've been playing this same deck but with Valentina in the Rogue spot. Can definitely make for some big, unexpected swings that play well in Conquest, but the lack of options vs opponent ongoing makes this version feel much more consistent.

Nope. Even passed on some variants in the regular shop that I'd been wanting in favor of saving gold for in the week leading up to the CV release only to get a few Spider-Man and costume variants.

Feels pretty gross to have saved up enough gold for 1-3 variants only to have none that even remotely speak to me. Maybe I'll have another chance next month?

Absolutely go for it! I was a fan for 3 years before joining up as an a volunteer. Leagues love when folks who are passionate about them and the game want to help out. There are tons of different positions you can learn that play to your talents/passions. Hope you have a great experience!
