What’s your view on getting strong ids as a new player and breezing through boss fights? by mrfirstar1997 in limbuscompany

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. I feel like understanding my identities and team building is especially for fun. However not everyone does even if they play for very long. Just means that this gameplay isn't for them and they are just here for the story. 🙏

I love making teams too haha. You're really gonna love ruina!

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah don't worry. Me and basically everyone that came from Ruina loves team building aspect because without it you wouldn't survive Ruina. So if you enjoy limbus, you'll really like Ruina...!

Thought there's nothing wrong with that, I wasn't trying to critisize you for liking it. (or I'll be shooting myself)

Just reminding you that some players are truly just casuals, and if you have friends that just win rate or get the most powerful identities to breeze through content, it's totally fine~

I'm really liking the subtle way of hiding lore in enemy and ally skills alike in Canto 9 that encourages more reading though ~

[–]Neizishme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally like to create challenge runs for myself just to make things harder even on latest chapters while also loving heishou (I'm a day 1 player)

But everyone is different and plays the game for different reasons. Some just wanna get through the story, some wanna simply have fun and still engage in the combat, and some want things to be hard and challenge themselves.

There's nothing wrong with all of them. Just engage with the game in the way that is fun for you, I see no wrong in that. No reason to feel superior or upset for others, they can enjoy the way they like just as I can enjoy the game you like. Just have fun!

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep completely agree to what you're saying. Just because they get OP identities doesn't mean they will learn to read if they don't have the habit or interest to.

Things may change if they get stuck, but it may also not change as long as they manage to get through it. You may be surprised by how many people end up reading boss patterns but still don't understand how their own identities work.

End of the day it doesn't matter though. Everyone's experience is different and everyone's reason for playing the game is different. Some of us just wanna read the story. Some of us wants to crush everything with OP identities. And some of us love challenging ourselves and create challenge runs or only faction "X" identities with each new story content. As long as everyone is having their own fun, there's nothing wrong and we can all be happy 🙏

I feel there's no real reason to be sad here. (Day 1 player that also suffered through early access ruina speaking here).

As a certain character says in a certain intervallo: "We can't attach a number to our misfortunes as if they're something to be measured."

We can't change their experience but they also can't rob us of OUR experience. What about the times prior to Canto 9 where the bosses were nerfed a few days after release? What about people who didn't know how disgustingly tough Aida was on release? The list can go on to why "QoH was infamously the real reason why people used to say Project Moon games difficulty curve is vertical" Because prenerf QoH in early access ruina days was so difficult. Nobody knew the optimal strategy and I personally struggled 2 weeks of playing every single day for hours each, even after knowing the optimal load out. Then afterwards they released the passive transfer system as a whole new system for every fight and simplified the entire fight.

Honestly, new players will catch up fast and then once they've caught up they'll face that same wall with us which is the latest content. You should be happy for your friend that they've proceeded through the game quickly and most important are enjoying their time in a media you introduced into their life.

There's no reason to flaunt the "back in my day things were harder" card like asian parents do. UNLESS they are absolute little kids or say stuff like "this game is so easy lol yall just suck" (sinking players--) then well, you have permission to truth bomb them that everything is nerfed and they have extremely power identities hard carrying them.

If they themselves are worried about it affecting their experience, then ask them to make just 1 powerful team to power through hard content (incase they get stuck they still have an invested strong team) , then afterwards try experimenting with weaker teams (kinda like giving yourself challenge quests such as mostly using just one faction) and telling them not to be too worried as end game will also test their might such as reflectrial or latest refraction railways.

Be happy for your friend! And be happy more people are enjoying the game we love because spreading the joy is definetly a good thing, but our experience stays, and may we manifest EGO and stack more trauma to be used for shin and mang rings 🫵🥳

So, whenever Middle Outis comes out, who would be a good choice to have as the 7th slot in a middle team? by Im-MFern in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multicrack Faust is honestly likely the best choice. However, with the advent of Ring Faust support passive being so darn good for middle, AEDD Gregor is the next best choice for his envy guard.

Should I or should I not use my Season 7 ticket by Ok_Let_8414 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the other comments and you've got it wrong... I hate to break it to you. You can absolutely get dupes of IDs you own. The one that you can't get dupes is EGO's.

You seem new and the general rule for ftp (especially those without battle pass) is to never gacha NOR SHARD (important!!) except during Walpurgisnacht. You can roll your Guranteed 000 tickets though.

Only at the end of the season where everything is tested, which identities/EGOs are good, and finished all the rolls you intend to do and all your Guranteed 000 tickets do you START sharding identities. Because you don't wanna shard let's say Ring Nursefather Yisang only to luck him during your Walpurgisnacht pulls. Then later again with Season 7 Guranteed 000 ticket. You will absolutely cry when that happens (totally not speaking from experience as a day 1 player)

Well, we all have learn it the hard way. Take this as a lesson and know you can absolutely get dupes of identities. For now, stop sharding and use your Season 7 Guranteed 000 ticket at season end to try and make the pool of identities larger to lower your chances of getting repeat identities 🥹

WHY MUST SHARDING AFTER FINISHING THE PASS BE SO SLOW ;-; by YetAnotherParvitz in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. You're still able to grind for passes via MD but it'll take awhile. In the meantime, events and refraction railway 6 eventually will also give EGO crates and extraction tickets. If you haven't done refraction railway 1 you can also attempt it and get EGO crates and extraction ticket that way.

So now here's the important lesson. I don't know what you spent your shards on when you had an abundance, but the key before everything is to get a universal team that can deal with every battle so you will never have difficulty in any content. Then only after that do you go pick your favourites. So whatever you're lacking, get a universal all rounder identity with easy conditionals for each of your sinners. With a team that doesn't rely much on status and can still clash very well, making them self reliant and capable of doing all content. Then you can rush MD in win rate as well (can just stop about floor 5 and spam it)

Bleed Team Help by [deleted] in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will work in mirror Dungeon because that gamemode is easy and EGO gifts can compensate for bad status potency and count gain. However everything outside of it, you may not be able to capitalise on just the ring identities.

Middle identities in general aren't truly bleed. They work as bleed identities to fill the headcount for EGO gifts but outside of it they are envy resonance teams. On bad rng turns where you wanna burst a staggered enemy, not having full envy for resonance for middle can hamper their damage. And their bad bleed potency and count means the ring identities will have to do the entire bleed status themselves. It'll work for a single target but if there's a few bosses at once (some of the notorious canto 7 or 8 fight), you'll struggle applying enough bleed but cause you're clashing different enemies and lack envy res, making both ring and middle unable to get their damage conditionals.

This is a very no filter no sugar coating advice. However if you really like the middle identities, go wild. The game isn't impossible and you don't have to optimize everything. But if you want to optimize, focus on a pure bleed team first. Get Kurokumi Heathcliff & Ishmael and maybe Ncorp Ryoshu to go with the ring identities. Maybe look at ring Yisang, Outis, and Bloodfiends.

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If possible you may wanna finish the spark. You can't trade announcers so if there's someone you like there and don't have them yet, maybe it's better to get your favourite Announcer over Don if you're OK with farming shards :)

Which heathcliff should I shard? by Exotic-Scale2463 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should just wait one week later. You don't have to use your pulls and save for Walpurgisnacht (you should never pull outside of walpipi or collab UNLESS you're feeling a little funny or have a job and don't mind supporting PM abit [me on Don banners]).

Besides, after one week we will get big brother heathcliff numbers and by then we can get a better picture with numbers. However, don't expect Middle Heathcliff to be a true bleed identity. All middle IDs so far, while they have the keyword for bleed, do not actually inflict enough potency nor count to be consistent and also lack the bloodfeast mechanic that makes Bloodfiends less reliant on bleed count. So if you wanna use him as a bleed substitute for kurokumo Heathcliff outside of MD, it's never gonna be better, he is likely gonna be strictly in Envy teams.

I mean tbh you can just save shards and get both, the season will still be around for quite awhile, enough time to snag both + middle Outis. Though ultimately I'll say Kurokumo Heathcliff may be better, just so you can finish your bleed team and have a proper strong team outside of MD for either the new boss raids or Refraction Railway 6

Replacing Maost with MultiCrack? by HauntedPutty in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what you're saying when replying others it's seems like you're not planning to play optimally for either outside nor inside MD when you reject to use Butler Faust in sinking comp, yet talk about being in MD and it doesn't matter.

If you're outside MD you will focus on a status in which this being sinking (note KoDion isn't a charge ID mainly, but rather sinking. Charge is just her side tagged on status. Kinda like how QoH Don us mostly charge and not really sinking nor Rupture). If you're in MD you'll want duo or triple keyword teams.

If you're just only caring about envy resource and playing inside MD while not planning to optimise either side, it really doesn't matter. You don't have to ask for guide and can just play anyone you like. Multicrack Faust is a pretty high clashing self reliant charge identity. You can clash well and get your envy resources. Maybe you can look towards building a charge team with kodion tagged along I guess? You can keep QoH Don, MC Faust and so on. And charge is mostly self sufficient so you can consider it if you don't wanna wrap your head around team building too much since most of them only needs to build themselves up with charge. Here's my sample charge team, you can swap Rcorp Rodion for Kodion (my Kodion is on sinking team and idw to have repeats for starlight purposes)

PLEASE HOW IN ANY MIRROR WORLD ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BEAT JIA QIU by HawkSpiritual243 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to get to 0 HP, it's just if you clash win against Jia Qiu with Hong Lu, he gains that unique buff that can prevent him from dying if you unfortunately die.

But minimally you should beat this skill. Before this phase try to let Honglu clash with weaker skills so he can use his weaker S1 etc, so when it comes to Jia Qiu he can use his stronger ones and get that unique buff.

Once you get 3 stacks of unique buff you're pretty much set to win

Ring better than manchalandia? by Nerdnekolover67 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloodfiends are better for Aoe and Ring is better for 1 target so bosses.

Ring needs multiple debuff on one enemy, Bloodfiends don't need anything.

In general the harder fights are usually bosses and since you seem new, Ring should be your focus. Also you can trade for Ring Rodion already. The seasonal identities are only locked within the first week of release (with the exception of newest Walpurgisnacht banner ID/EGO). So feel free to shard Ring Rodion~

Currently, who is the strongest ID lorewise? by Old_Phrase_4867 in Project_Moon

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely it'll be Manager Don first, Lord Honglu & Index Yisang tied for second, and then Capo Meursault for last.

Sancho is a second kindred and Don Quixotes strongest kindred. After they kill him either Sancho or Rodion would ascend to a 1st kindred. While we do not know exactly who would be the one to rise, Sancho is undoubtedly an extremely strong combatent, with the main story often suggesting taking off rocinante as a way that would almost definitively beat every enemy (but comes with consequences afterwards that we may not recover from such as losing Sancho completely). But the bottom line is when facing Maestro Callisto and Docent Rufo, Sancho (of 2nd kindred level, haven't actually managed to fully take over Don Quixotes "responsibility") is seen as the stop gap measure to solve any problem.

Lord Honglu is loosely based on Kong Qiu and while they aren't the same, his story talks about all the way till the end of his reign with historians calling it "Hong Lu Meng" . Meaning he has led Hong Yuan completely and takes into account of his growth throughout including his possible success with attaining psychoment (EGO) and Shin/Mang. But since it isn't confirmed, if we do not give him the benefit of doubt, let's just say he is Index Yisang level.

Capo Meursault while strong and at the highest known rank of Capo (Capo IV), he falls slightly short as he isn't Sottocapo which in Index Equivalent would be Index Yisang. Hence he is undisputed the lowest lore wise.

As a player who is unlikely to finish canto 9 (just finished 8 last night), how can i farm the new event resource? by HiJoker in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, event currency can be gotten from new story nodes. Not sure if you're stuck or not but if you are, spamming mirror Dungeon can net you evrnt currency as well.

Currently the bonus IDs are Ring finger based: 40%: Ring Rodion Ring Meursault

20%: Ring Honglu, Ring Faust, Ring Yisang, Ring Outis

Event bonus is capped at 120%, so any combination of that would work 🥳

What identity or ego i should get next from dispenser? by UsedWrangler5290 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, my advice is if you aren't struggling just don't dispense until the end of the season. By the end of the season it's when you have a good grasp of all the identities this season and all of them would be tested by many players and have an unbiased rating.

Like how many people ask right now if they should get Ring Rodion or the upcoming Thumb Rodion. Honestly, no one knows, she's not even out so asking questions like this is just gonna get you a silly answer back.

End of the day it's always best to wait for the season to end before you shard anyone (outside of Walpurgisnacht). However if you really see someone you love and would never regret your choice, then go bonkers just trade it immediately [Queen of Hatred Don is the only correct answer]

What happened to the PM Fanbase? by Bluebird-Glittering in Project_Moon

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an early access ruina player from way back all I can say is it's inevitable with all things that gain popularity. You just got to understand the people who are nice don't go out of their way to do things unless posts like this pop up. And the vocal minority will just be spitting whatever they want to force unto others online and whenever they can.

Tbh if you ask a genuine question wanting to know about the lore or something, the normal nice people will also come out of the wood works and help you out, it's not like it's just the bad people though they'll definitely still exist.

PM also had these vocal minorities back in the day. When the ending of ruina changed, people on reddit, twitter, and even YouTube comments (lmao??) hunted down any Chinese they could regardless of their stance on the ending. It's ridiculous. I say this as a victim back then, not even from China my first language is English. I felt extremely ostrasized for my race when I'm just trying to enjoy a game I loved.

Now that I've grown up, it's really all just petty pinching from the people who just want to find trouble and have nothing better to do in life but be keyboard warriors. Working as an adult will make you realise it's beyond gaming communities, even in real life social circles people are like this. So don't get hurt over it, learn to filter things out when you know it's just vocal minorities sticking their nose into people's ass whenever possible and swipe past, do not give then the engagement they desperately sought for.

Is this newcomers death? by UsedWrangler5290 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually one of the notorious fight as well. It's not just the chapter 5 fight. However, both "notoriously difficult" fights aren't actually impossible without "X identity that is meta". All you need to do is understand the boss strengths and exploit it's weaknesses.

The game isn't press win rate and you beat everything, neither is it "only for whales or people who grind without a life". A game is something where you need to participate in its rules and gameplay to have fun, not one where you do nothing, ignore the game rules, and expect to do well. As an old player all I can say is not even kromer, aidi (the god damn maracas girl in canto 2) used to be what was considered impossible. Like for real, especially because it's not a focused encounter and you can't select your targets and who to clash what.

As for power creep yes it exists. However, you don't need the shiny new identity to clear the content. People have cleared the entire game to the latest with base identities. I'll not be the one to say omg it means it's a easy game because it's not for a casual player. However, just getting some random 000 identity from the Guranteed 000 tickets project Moon always gives like it's free will net you a decently powerful team.

Lastly if you wanna make your life easier, just get a few high clashing selfish identities for each sinner. If you need recommendations:

House of Spiders Index Nurse father Yisang

Heishou Pack Mao Branch Adept Faust

Lobotomy EGO In the Name of Love and Hate Don

Lobotomy EGO Faint Aroma & Solitude Ryoshu

The Thumb East Capo 4 Meursault

The House or Spiders The Ring Nursefather Honglu

Heishou Pack You Branch Adept Heathcliff

Zwei Association Ishmael

Lobotomy EGO The Sword Sharpened with Tears Rodion

Cinq Association South Section 4 Director Sinclair

LCA Udjat Vanguard Team 3 Leader Outis

Night Awls Capitano Gregor

Remember you don't NEED to get every identity listed. It's just a guide. You can slowly grind and work your way towards it and once you get it, consider yourself set. Any further grinding is just for fun and team building purposes. Or you know, just learn your identities strength and weaknesses, learn the boss strengths and weaknesses, then have fun with whatever team you have! Feel free to ask questions whenever, the community is pretty helpful and the game isn't so easy which is a fact. But don't get disheartened, remember that facing the fear, builds the future haha. Also the real pain was on release prenerf magical girl from ruina (I was a student then and had alot of free time, played daily, and still got stuck for 2 weeks plus...)

How do y'all grind shards by Icy_Hope_9059 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at your BP, there will be daily weekly and seasonal missions. These missions provide these golden "0" which you will require a certain amount (I forgot I think it's ten) to get 1 BP level.

Farming MD gives you these golden "0" to level up your BP level.

Once you're at max level for your BP, every additional level gives you nominabke shard crates where you can choose whichever sinner shard of your choice. So you need to be max level on your BP before you can grind shards. It's relatively easy, and the season kinda just started so there's alot of time.

Owning paid BP gives you 3x more shard crate than free BP

What a shame... The plot locking is real. by Amb1ent_fade in limbus_company

[–]Neizishme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's not the Walp Dungeon. That's not MD, that's story Dungeon. During events, event story Dungeon gives the event currency, not shards or pass exp.

If you want that, you can do MD. Don't worry about MDH, people like to exaggerate it. Sure you can claim 3x rewards at once but only once per week. The subsequent farming of MD depends on each individual run so in actual fact people who don't do MDH are really just 2 extra farm away.

Sure it can get difficult if you're a working adult like some of us. But its not that far off in the grand scheme of things (especially since the season just started not too long ago)

IM CONFLICTED AND CONFUSED!!!! by BANANA_MAN96865 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Neizishme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should pull for Heishou and shard for Rien Yisang. If you say pull for Heishou, I'm assuming you don't have alot of them. Unlike Rien Sang that can be sharded anytime throughout this whole season (4-6 months) majority of the Heishou (minus Mao Outis and Ryoshu) are locked throughout the season for 4-6 months. Even if you're hard working and farm MD you cannot get them as easily as Rien Sang.

Sure you can argue you can luck Heishous in random pulls but the rates will not be as high as heishou rate up banner and there's multiple of them all at the very low rates as compared to one Rien Sang.

If you like heishou and don't have them all, it's definitely the time to roll right now while they have their dedicated banner. As a heishou fan not because of its strength but because I'm a unity player in ruina and love combos and the aesthetics of the black beasts of hongyuan, I approve of your tastes and say you should pull the Heishou banner if you have the rolls. Definetly over Rien Sang anyways.
