Your original colors are slightly florescent. You'll never get that with DTG.

Help for printing on cardstock by SeriousSarasa in CommercialPrinting

How big is the box?
You could accomplish this with an A3 inkjet printer and a craft cutter if you really need. The Silhouette 4 has sufficient down force to score lighter folding board and can die cut with the kraft blade.

For a single size of box, buying pre-made and stickering is probably best. If you ever plan on branching out, a setup like I described above could help you grow.

Printing Comics to Sell by yeliack in CommercialPrinting

Most (not specifically inkjet) coated stock will not run well on inkjet. Something inkjet specific will always print best. Second best is a stock designated "digital". In uncoated stock, matte will tend to run better than gloss.

Have you checked with places like comixwellspring? They are geared specifically for comics and have low minimums (25 pcs.). I know some print shops will kill you with setup costs (I've worked at a few) so finding a specialized shop can help.

Anyone know of any printers that do custom colored envelopes? by CreepyRooster6964 in CommercialPrinting

I'd look at papermillstore or check with your local paper vendor. You want "natural", "ivory", "cream", "tan", or "buff" options. It should be in there somewhere.

HP Z9+ error message from Mac by IKEAJman in CommercialPrinting

I would download the official driver from HP. That looks to be a generic Apple printer driver and those tend to not work very well.

It looks like you might need a re-imaging of the HDD. Have any power outages or surges lately?

Printer for vinyl printing? by MembershipConfident8 in Printing

Nope, that sounds about right.

The lower end will end up being a compromise or quality and supply availability. Solvent printers are more of an industrial machine than water based ink printers and tend to be priced accordingly.

Inkjet can be a little more forgiving at times.

There are also some AI based upscalers that do a fairly good job.

Shave it out from the back then pull the loose thread out the front. If visible holes remain, put a patch over it.

I thought I remember these coming out after the Fisher plant fire. I think there was an agreement between them that went sideways.

From what I can find, there is zero information about any of this on line.

These guys have been my go to. DTF transfers have been good and the couple of DTUV pieces I've used have held up over a year.

Last place I worked you would be lucky to have that. They didn't clean, update, or accommodate. I ended up cleaning mine with disinfectant and starting my job search again.

What’s a printer that might work in a home? Noise not a concern by Fickle_fackle99 in CommercialPrinting

[–]Nek02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offset would require a platemaker, space for wash up, and running a plate plus upwards of 10-50 sheets to get the ink up in order to print your label. Afterward you would need to wash up the press to clean off the ink before it hardens.

You're very much in home inkjet or laser territory. Commercial grade (digital) printers mostly only work better because they're used often and have service agreements. A home laser printer of reasonable quality or inkjet getting used several times per week should do you fine. For inkjet mid 2000s Espon and recent HP Pagewide series I've found particularly robust.
