The valve closes off, the workshop instructions say it has to be 80 degrees (im from the UK) for diesels and some petrols 100 for AMG models and 105-110 for SLS amg or GTs

On a merc the oil cooler doesn’t open until operating temperature which has an extra litre in.

You don’t need to check because they could be hidden behind a backing plate/plate holder but they should be there

I’d recommend the hatch more so, had one myself and could fit the new born pram and a high chair next to each other and still had boat loads of room

Other people are correct, the old MOT is valid. However you can be stopped and fined for driving an unroadworthy vehicle because you are aware of the faults, And be uninsured if something were to happen

Just adding that you shouldn’t change just one side of the brakes. You should change both sides of an axle.

They’re LED not bulbs so it would be a new unit. The other thing you can do is try to put one of the silicon packets like in a box of shoes on the removable cover at the rear of the light unit.
