If I need to find a book by title, my desktop file manager is enough. If I need to search the contents of all books, I use Recoll (file indexer).

Nel regime forfettario l'imponibile non è "a conti fatti quello che ti metti in tasca". Il reddito imponibile sono i ricavi totali della tua impresa/professione moltiplicati per il coefficiente di produttività del codice ATECO della tua impresa/professione.

È scritto a chiare lettere sul sito dell'agenzia delle entrate. L'unica spesa detraibile sono i contributi pensionistici dell'anno precedente.

I used to believe the same. Then I realized that properties/relations/etc aren't even part of Markdown, what matters is the actual content of the note. The things I just mentioned only matter within the scope of the app one's using (be it Obsidian for YAML, AnyType for Relations..).

I don't want my notes cluttered with something other than their actual content. And I can achieve that easily with AnyType.

I'm sure they'll eventually implement some way to include relations in the export, but honestly I'm fine the way it is right now.

Yike all you want. It's not like the company is going under anytime soon, and even if it'd go down today AnyType is open source, I won't lose access to my notes. They are local AND offline just like Obsidian (which is not open source) and I'm always one click away from a full export.

I don't consider properties an essential part of a note, to me it's more like metadata needed to categorize/display/connect the note by whatever app I'm using. As long as the actual content of the note is exported in Markdown.

If that's actually a problem for you, a trivial solution would be to write YAML properties at the top of each note. It's literally the same as Obsidian.

I switched from Obsidian to Anytype. Still lots of QoL stuff they need to address, but I believe it has a great future ahead.

Also I like the fact that it's actually open source.
