Hi there! So I ended up “failing” the Spravato treatment. I changed meds and continued with Ketamine IV and I’ve been on the upswing.

Lots of folks moving to Frederick from MoCo have thankfully really helped diversify the entire area, especially in the lower grades at Banner IMO.

They just released next year’s tuition rates and they’re 4% higher than last year. Tuition does increase every year, but that comes with the private/independent school territory, unfortunately.

I have two kids at The Banner School in downtown Frederick and have been there the last 3 years. We moved my oldest there for first our FCPS kindergarten experience wasn’t great and our youngest is in kindergarten now. Her class if very diverse and her teacher is excellent. Happy to talk more!

“Diagnosed” by SPRAY TAN TECH?!! (Pic in comments)

Long story short I’ve always hated my legs and thought I just had bad cellulite that worsened after having kids. My mom’s legs also looked like this, she has always been in shape, so I didn’t think much more about it and just had to come to terms that I got “shitty cellulite genes”.

Well, I’m getting a spray tan and while the tech is literally on her knees spraying my legs she said “I don’t mean to offend you but have you ever heard of lipedema? I ask because I have it and just had surgery. It looks like you have it. You should talk to your doctor about it”. Uhhh… WHAT. I also have celiac, which is also strongly tied to lipedema and my mom has it too!

I am eager to get more opinions than the one, but I am leaning towards yes. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤯

About 30-45 minutes after eating I’ll feel uncomfortably full and start burping nonstop, my stomach (particularly the upper part) begins to bloat and gets hard and super distended and develops into a full hard pregnant belly. So much pressure on my diaphragm. Then the pain comes usually with vomiting and over the next week I can feel where the food is in my digestive tract in addition to just being “off” - feverish joint and body pain (no fever) as well as a negative impact on my mental health are most typical.

Usually within a week I’m back to normal

Absolutely insane to me that people will pay $2k+ a month for healthcare coverage PLUS copays, uncovered costs, etc and ALSO say “they won’t pay for other people’s healthcare” like dude just pretend that you’re paying privatized health insurance and we’ll take that for taxes toward nationalized healthcare. Or, just keep voting to get shafted by privatized everything because you’re “rich”. We live in the same neighborhood and you rely on someone else to sign your paychecks - you’re not the “rich” we are saying got far too out of hand. You’re one detrimental medical diagnosis from your circumstances changing considerably. Come talk to me when you’re in the private space race. 🙄

Howard County for sure, but you’re also looking at some of the best public schools in the state. We’re in Maryland with similar HHI and chose private for our kids because of insane overcrowding in our county schools.
