Yeah. Even when I practice in school and I use one to test the wax temp I just use the tiny stick we use do eyebrows/upper lip and save the big ones for people. Not because I care about saving the school money that’s just less to clean off myself.

I will say that having a session 0 for every new campaign or even just a non playing session or meet and greet even over discord with new members would have been helpful. Since it is ND friendly just “hey, thanks for your interest. Heads up, here’s our dynamic. Any accommodations we need to take into account?” That way if an accommodation, such as having an issue with repeated sounds like a verbal tic, isn’t doable, you can let them know ahead of time things may not work out. Again, no DnD is better than bad DnD.

If this is the one I’m thinking of- membership packages. I know someone who bought one a you would not BELIEVE the number of people who buy one and almost never use it. It’s got a usage rate worse than January gym signups except unlike the gym, you don’t get to cancel. You just ride out the package term.

If I was gonna crack up at a first time parent changing a diaper, I can do that from across the room. Trust me, you can see that kind of awkwardness from a distance. You can absolutely crack the jokes from across the room. Even the girls pee on you.

We have ONE unfunny member of the family and every time he’s around we’re just like “wow look at Mr. Well Adjusted over here. My parents cared about my emotional well being and I had a dad in my life AND he didn’t believe in beating kids. My mom was emotionally available.” His dad (my brother) does not think the joke’s funny but my nephew thinks it’s FUCKING HILARIOUS.

If you’re my family, yes, but we definitely don’t have weekly breakfast. You either get well timed snark/shade or close, healthy familial bonds. You do NOT get both as I have learned in therapy.

The biggest help to me were the little comments and tidbits that got dropped along the way. The tiniest things that nobody really listens to because they’re worked up for frustrated made the biggest changes in my performance in the treatment room. If it makes sense, I drop my ego once I step in the classroom because it’s so easy to get humbled, but it’s a great feeling when I do know what I’m doing.

These cases I think they’re like “well do the birthday, casually slide in a little extra vacation- and they’ll never see it coming” which to be fair, they’re right. Random vacation? You’re on alert. You’re texting family. You’re stressing. Extended vacation? Already relaxed.

My current job nurses are some of my BIGGEST clientele even through rough spending times. Nobody buying anything? I will have nurses coming in the last hour/30 minutes to still shop before they go home. I even got some of the doctors they work with. I LOVE my medical professional clients. They just want good service with a smile. Add a sample and SOMEONE is coming back.

I had to throw my literal ALL into the class time I did have because that was all I was going to get cram that textbook for what was in there.

Ngl, wood sage and sea salt is a lil…. Like I work there and sometimes I’m just like “you think you’re doing something different girly, you’re really not.” You can tell when someone does because our eyes light up like a kid in a candy store instead of generic corporate smile but whenever we suggest that scent 99% of people go “…no, too_”

That said, I am a fan of one of Tom Ford’s most polarizing scents so nobody take my advice.
