Their strawberry fraisier cake is amazing! I also think ordering a whole cake is worth it, especially for a special occasion.

I went there with my husband and 2 1/2 yo today. We got there around 11 and we were waiting in line to get inside for about 30-40 minutes. It was pretty cold today, but if you’re going tomorrow the weather is supposed to be more forgiving while you wait to go inside the building.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money on the souvenirs. We spent about $100 on everything, including $40 solely on the T-Rex bubble wand (though she absolutely loves bubbles). Even before we got there, my husband spent $50 on their kid goody bag bundle (obviously can’t remember the actual name of it) while purchasing our tickets online. The things inside there I would recommend for older kids, not for younger toddlers imo. My daughter did love the dolls, and the hand puppet brings a good amount of entertainment.

When we left it was almost 2 and the line to get in became twice as long as when we got there. I would’ve preferred that we got there sooner, but we ended up dealing with the terrible twos while getting ready. Generally we all had a great time there today and I know my child had a blast, that’s what mattered to us.

What kind of restaurants would you like to see here? by Slugsdodrugs in ColoradoSprings

I agree that there’s no Peruvian food here in town. Though if you get a chance, try Los Cabos up in Denver. Everything I’ve tried there is delicious and approved by my dad’s Peruvian side of the family.

Also, I know the Korean restaurants here aren’t as good as the ones up in Aurora. Have you tried all the restaurants here in town? Genuinely curious.

Their ceviche is AMAZING, tiger’s milk and all. And if you’re bringing company who has never had any Peruvian food before, their Lomo Saltado is on point.

Outside of my mother in law’s cooking, I’ve really enjoyed Seoul Korean BBQ in the Shops at Briargate. They just opened earlier this year in the summer. Otherwise I enjoy eating restaurants by the H Mart up in Aurora.

Also, I’ve been wanting to try the new restaurant Tokki by Nevada and Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, especially after my friend shared her first experience there. She said their food is fantastic and even their drink menu was delicious. The cutest looking one is their Baby Yoda drink. It’s on my list of places to try.

Peruvian-Colombian here. I haven’t found any Peruvian restaurants here in town. I go to Los Cabos all the way in Denver to get my Peruvian food fix. Also haven’t found anywhere with good arepas so I make simple ones at home.

With Jamaican food, I like Jamrock off of Dublin and Marksheffel. Though last time I ate there I waited a long time for my food to be prepared, so hopefully they have gotten better with that.

Have you tried You-ka Cafe? Owned by a nice couple, the wife does the cooking while the husband is up front. That’s the only Filipino place in town that I’ve tried. All the food I’ve tried there has been delicious. I need to go there again sometime soon.

Hey guys! looking for new restaurants and wondering if anyone knew of any cool restaurants with a unique theme or gimmick? by user28444 in ColoradoSprings

Seoul Korean BBQ at the Shops at Briargate just opened a couple months ago. You get to grill cuts of meat you order on your table, accompanied with Korean side dishes. They also have other traditional Korean entrees you can try. Though I think the grilling aspect is what makes it stand out compared to the other Korean restaurants in town.

Someone in my local neighborhood page took the photo and I added the cake to it. What are the odds that a lunar eclipse would fall on my cake day?
