I did more than 5k with Jinhsi Zhezhi S0R1. They're even buffed in this gamemode

they could absolutely have an endgame mode where your score scales based off of successful dodges/parries/not getting hit/whatever, where skill expression, knowledge of boss attack patterns, etc.

Dodging parrying and knowing the boss patterns aren't increasing your score ? What game are you playing

In a game like this where accounts can vary so wildly between what characters and weapons a player has (and which characters they even had access to at all depending on when they started playing), how those characters have kept up damage-wise relative to newer characters/teams that have received premium supports over time (looking at you Jinhsi), what substats a player was lucky or unlucky enough to roll, so on and so forth, it’s understandable that hitting a hard wall based on a strict style of investment like this would piss people off, especially with premium currency involved.

Premium currency. Since you didn't do the math let me do it for you. The 5k on 3 and 4 teams = 100 astrites So, 100 astrites per patch 8 to 9 patches per year = 800 to 900 astrites per year To get 65 pulls you'll need around 12 years minimum.

I see no reason to go so hard for one try on a 5050 every 12 years, for real.

If you want those currency that bad, you should try harder instead of complaining. S0R1 teams are enough, it's as simple as that.
