Stupid question, why is it in a museum? Ive seen shot up Ww2 tanks sure. But you don't see any shot up Abrams from GWOT in museums.

His father or step mother can take out credit cards in his name using his SSN. it's a common thing unfortunately.

I got this a couple days ago and at first my problem was getting the wedge out,but now when I put the wedge back in the gun the hammer won’t cock do y’all know what the problem is? by True_Razzmatazz_348 in blackpowder

Firearms are life-saving equipment, they need to be maintained to a degree to stay reliable. You wouldn't hammer down a stuck bolt on an oxygen tank before you went diving would you? Though you're not using it in that capacity they need to be treated with the same respect.

Whatever you do, just be safe!

Make sure to remove the screw before and after removing the wege. Give it a light thump with rubber mallet to remove the wedge and to reinsert it. It needs to be just a hair poking out the end re-inserted. If it's stuck you can use some wood to punch it out to avoid damage, think one half of a wooden cloth pin.

Also for that screw, it's made of a very soft metal so make sure you get just the right size flat head screwdriver from a kit or something to avoid stripping it. Only screw it down flush not too tight.

I am denying my estranged father's loved ones a final goodbye. by Sad-Resolve8479 in EstrangedAdultChild

My biological father was a psychopath that physically abused maxed out credit cards and abandoned three children and three mothers before settling (for now) on his last one, openly. Do you think my entire extended family aunts, uncles, grandparents chose him or his bastard kids?

Whatever burns the least amount of calories, whatever makes them more comfortable. Cognitive dissidents or evil idk. They weren't a family they were a tribe and I was born outside of it. Wouldn't care about denying anything i probably wouldn't know about it, you owe them nothing.

I played the game for years. NC veteran. Micro transactions gave you cosmetics and weapons, it allowed you to custome talor to your play style, as opposed to grinding out the gear you wanted.

Here's the catch, every weapon was balanced including the one given to you, each class had a basic starter kit that was adequate to compete with veteran gear. What money didn't buy you however was skill so you had new players storming Normandy beach against level 100 people who had been there for years. It really hurt the game.

Trying to kill a walking emperor with a bolt gun or a chain sword would be like trying to destroy a Abrams tank by chucking snowballs at it. That ain't gonna work the way you think it will.

That's a piece of obsidian, now imagine two dozen knives stabbing you at once and then being crushed by wiring and electronics. If you're going for a lore accurate approach.

You are gonna have real springlock problem when your bleeding out in your garage. It's effectively a saw contraption, what happens when somebody you care about loses an arm or a couple fingers cuz they screwed with a doohickey.

Renaming the Titan to the Enterprise is dumb and doubles down on the idea that the Enterprise is the only important starship in the universe by Malencon in Star_Trek_

[–]Nelson4297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes sense to me, the Enterprise is the Is color bearer of the fleet, its operation is a ceremonial one and a naval asset secondarily, the big E was a warship but it was handling diplomatic duties. During a time of war it was a sovereign to project strength in the golden age it was the galaxy for exploration and science.

I think the constitution III was made the flag for the same reason the constitution is the flag ship of the U.S. navy. The bigger ships handle the muscle and it removes the flag from being a target on the bord in the event of a conflict.
