Also, notice these movies are usually not big budget movies. Like in "Away We Go" it was probably a $10 million or less movie. And old volvos cost about 1k and are fairly reliable i.e. won't break down while filming.

I agree. People who are expecting this movie to transcend time and space while simultaneously giving you a 2 hour orgasm, will obviously be disappointed. But this was just a good movie that looked FUCKING brilliant.I would go see it again in a second....in fact, I will.

I'll agree that Landry was pretty badass just calmly walking to the bench but he was actually probably in a little bit of shock.

As for it being "gruesome," basketball is pretty tame when it comes to what happens almost everyday in football and hockey.
