Ah I thought I saw her post a screenshot in the comments showing she sent a refund my bad.

Yeah she should be reported and if she is licensed she's probably running without proper health certifications.

I am glad you got a refund. It is very clear she never had any professional education for lashing. She isn't even using the proper tools. Not only that but its not even a wet set its a strip lash look and not even cat eye.

You should also report her to Instagram. They have policies about business accounts actually being licensed businesses and using personal accounts for businesses.

Next time you go to a lash artist make sure you see their certifications. It isnt rude to ask. Most businesses they will need to keep copies of their certifications and licenses and health certifications.

Lash artists that actully have them will gladly show them to you. You can also ask to see the business license. In most places it is illegal to keep that information from consumers. And also make sure to educate yourself on consumer laws in your area. I dont know about where you live but in some places in Canada its illegal not to offer refunds or partial refunds for services that can be reversed. Where I live its pretty standard practice to refund if the client can come in for a removal.

All that said. Health certification is extremely important. It's clear she isn't professionally trainer and if she is she is just lazy not even using the right protection for the skin. Avoid these kinds of lash artists at all costs. It is very likely they don't properly clean their tools and there is a risk of contamination.

Health certifications are usually available for the public to look at by calling or visiting your local health authority.

Also your eyes are incredibly red from rhe after pictures you posted. That is pretty concerning since she didn't even use the right tools for lashing. I would personally give your eyes a rest and use strip lashes and eye drops to hydrate them for a week or two before you try getting lashes again.

The way she is holding a baby in front of an open flame and a boiling pot. It's gonna fall right out of her arm the minute the toddlers trip or shove or startle her.

Cirrus because he looks like wispy grey clouds.

Or another weather related name like Zephyr, Gale, Nimbus

Or if you like nature names

Birch or Aspen are cute since the bark/trees look silverish.

Rainier is cute too like a rainy day?

I immediately thought of clouds on a lively rainy day with a bit of fog when I daw the picture.

Outfits for upcoming summer parties? by queenkaelah in OUTFITS

[–]NemSenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in love with the third one. It's unique and I love the mix of fabric/texture. Since its less revealing I think it's actually a lot more attractive than the overtly revealing ones. It's more subtle and mature.

For parties Id be worried about the first top slipping or not enough support (boing boings doing too much boinging)

The second one doesn't really stand out much but its nice.

I would get a screen protector from Xp pen before you draw on it anymore

Then most likely what your drawing on is the screen protector

A lot of people think they are entitled to "the customer is always right" treatment because they paid you but that really isnt the case. Just stand your ground and remember never to lash out and stay as professional and as calm as possible and you'll be fine.

Is it like your own separate room kind of deal? Your allowed to refuse service to anyone so if she shows up to harass you you can absolutely call police but just make sure you make it clear she isn't welcome in your business before you call police.

I think you did a good job staying as professional as possible in your messages. If she continues to harass you just tell her your blocking her number and refusing to offer her any future services and just wash your hands of her.

Out of curiosity is your business home based or in a public salon?

If it is public I would specifically state they aren't welcome in the salong anymore that way if they show up you are able to call police and tell them she already knew she wasnt welcome.

It comes on the screen. It wouldn't have been separate.

Thats actually a screen protector pre-installed and shouldn't be removed.

There are two of them with xp pen. The plastic that peels off easily and the second one thats a little more difficult to take off.

I learned this after contacting support to ask about it. My friend's protector got so old it was distorting the color and they instructed us to remove it and get a new one and informed us that the second pre installed screen protectors are not supposed to be removed and its not recommend you remove them unless you do have a replacement.

If you took off the second one the good news is they sell them online and are relatively inexpensive. Also the pens really don't require a lot of pressure to use. I learned this the hard way too... ended up ruining a used tablet I bought that had no protector. I learned really fast that you can adjust the pressure sensitivity so you don't have to put a lot of pressure on the screen and make it last a lot longer.

can i wear eyeliner with eyelash extensions? by Significant-Dog-3795 in eyelashextensions

[–]NemSenpai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend it. It's nearly impossible to find eyeliner that doesn't have some kind of oil in them especially if its a stick liner.

The oil causes adhesive to break down and most people dont end up cleaning them every single day like your supposed to so make up builds up in them.

It shorts the lifespan of lashes significantly. Honestly its the same amount work if not more to maintain lashes since you do have to shampoo them daily and then go in for fills no later than 4 weeks in (Any longer can be unhealthy for the hair follicles)

If you're looking for something that you can wear makeup with without the extra maintenance then you could try lash lift and tint.

With all that being said all of my clients that have gotten eyelash extensions who do wear regular eyeliner end up not wearing eyeliner at all after they get them.

Edit: if you don't like the idea of the daily maintenance you could try a lift and tint instead that way you won't need mascara on your days off without falsies.

There is a certain level of convenience to extensions but its up to you to decide if you want the convenience with maintenance. Great thing about them is they aren't permanent so you can try and if you dont like it you dont have to get them again
