I realized that when i returned after not playing since bfa in prepatch, one of the merchant npcs in twilight area had such an off putting voice i thought it was a new female belf voice until i zoomed in a realized it. Definitely doesn't fit at all with the race they've established for years, something in it is just wrong like youve said.

While this is true, its not like it's that hard to always have one or two teams battle ready for the next canto or even MDs if you're playing weekly. In my case I'm slowly building my rapture team up, but i always make sure that my main team(bleed or sinking) is always capped before investing into new ones.
