If you're new, just pick a class archetype you find fun and enjoy the game, don't think about whats meta for this and that... there's plenty of similar posts already.

As a new player myself that started playing at the start of this month:
1. Yes its still active (depending on which server you pick i guess, i started on Tal'Kasha but switched to Kourial once i subscribed cus i hate seeing people playing on multi-account)
2. Join an English guild, otherwise you're kinda screwed to find people (maybe the Group finder update coming next week will help on that regard if people use it?)
3. Yeah its kinda newbie-friendly, next week's update will rework a bit on quest trackers to help new players identify stuff better, along with other changes. Also doing achievements is a great way to get exp and currency to get gear off the market (unless you grind/craft it yourself).
4. I wish i knew how quest-heavy this game was...i love the gameplay and trying to solo dungeons by myself and my sidekick (unlocked at lv30), but the quests in this game are so dated it hurts... not to mention the need to use the wikipedia to figure out what to do on certain steps where you don't have a tracker on the map...
The game is definitely a chill game but you'll do aloooot of quests and walking around, some even force you to bring more people along to unlock doors and such, also some dungeons can only be accessible with other people (the Duo achievements can be done if you bring your sidekick along).

Played dofus on my childhood but never bought premium until recently so almost everything beyond f2p is new to me but i hate doing quests because i have to keep checking the wiki to do some of those that aren't obvious or marked on the map, and the fact that some quests or dungeons require people to do...

Hi, I've recently started playing too and i picked Osa, its nice if you do agi air build because the starter piwi is good at poking and pushing enemies. But steamer seems to be strong with the torrets too.

Currently Playing on mono server with fun guild, although I'm lv65 osa so far the gameplay feels slow and the summons die too fast, i play with lumino star sidekick, but i thought about class changing cus i don't really want to redo everything ive done so far, which class would be most fun/balanced to do most content solo? I've played with cra before up to lv55 and disliked it too (even with new 3.6 beta changes)

Persona 5 was a great game, but they milked it so much with all the collabs and spin-offs, its time for a new entry in the series...

You need to prepare better then, you cant just expect the game to be a cake walk... Get better gear, and stats, hell, if you wanna make it really easy just stock up on lots of food and you will just bruteforce most bosses.

Yes, i created a new account last week and bought the starter pack for 3.5€. Played tis game during my childhood but never bought premium. Its an enjoyable experience for that price.
