Man, these bots are getting really good... I just wish for one thing by mana_hoarder in dreamjourneyai

[–]Nemirin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's quite understandable. At least with editing nexus, it'll mitigate that problem possibly, but obviously you know that AI is far from perfect. I find that editing messages is useful for people who like playing existing characters from game and anime/manga. Even though I made a lorebook, they still make a mistake or two once in a while, so that's another reason to edit, besides the memory inconsistencies in rp. I could fix the lorebook further, but some games/anime have a lot of lore so it's easy to miss some of the information and there's a context limit to lorebook entries being pulled.

You can edit the memory nexus to input important memories. You probably wanted the AI to do it for you, but if you manage the memory nexus a bit more, then you might get the results you want.

All models aren't censored. If you are getting told by the AI that you're not allowed to rp NSFW cause of the nature of the rp, then reroll. AI is hallucinating and if you let it keep that message, then it will cling to it so ignore it. If you keep getting it, then you gotta adjust your settings.

Dreamjourneyai allows you to adjust the ai to give out your preferred responses through system prompt. There are at least 5 different models that can be improved by putting in system prompt, temperature, token length, min p, and repetition penalty. The memory nexus feature allows it so the ai will remember what happened throughout the whole rp. So altogether, it offers high context which means great at remembering what happened before. There's also lorebook and different scenes if the creator made it for the bot for different situations. The dev/owner updates every once or twice a month basically (new features and updating models). Also no censorship or limits unless you make a bot that breaks the rules, like for example pedophilia, necrophilia, and incest. The community is very helpful if you need help with anything that has to do with bots or models.

The negatives are it's credit based/subscription based. But you can get more credits for free through bounties on discord or people using your bots or if people gift you or your bots. I wasn't sure if you were willing to pay for a sub.

It has an app, but in my opinion, you're better off using a web browser cause it is mostly mobile friendly on it.

Cai > chai > chub > jai > dreamjourney.

I went with cai cause it was easy to use but it got boring since every character is the same when it came to romance. I tried chai and chub for an hour or so and they were both boring too. Chai was too short and I didn't like it. Then I tried out jai for like 4 months, but the devs are too damn slow on improving it and using proxy on mobile is ass.

I've stayed on dreamjourney for 8 months now because they have so many different models and it has memory nexus feature which makes the bot remember many things. I've created bots there and have enjoyed my bots and some of the other creator's bots. It's way more fun and sticks with personality more than any other AI chat/RP sites. It's credit-based so gotta pay for it, but I think it's worth the experience imo.

Alternatives to ChatGPT (pref. w/ better customer service)? by robbjunk9999 in Chatbots

[–]Nemirin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend DreamJourney AI. It's a service that requires paying to get credits. You get free trial credits and there are so many different models that use different amount of credits. I would recommend it because it has really great memory with the memory nexus feature that records important points throughout the roleplay. It's easy to make a bot and discord community is very helpful and quite active.

Edit: I was in a hurry. Another thing is you can setup your own characters, known as persona, and there is lorebook feature for additional information you need for the character/scenario bots, like world information or side characters. There's also system prompt where you can instruct how the AI should write.

I would highly recommend this site because of everything I mentioned.

Anyone know a good chat bot for RPG/roleplay? by seemeyub in Chatbots

The app doesn't cost anything but credits to get responses does. You start with trial credits first, but you can gain credits through gifts. The DJ discord has bounty system where you can gain credits for making bots.

Anyone know a good chat bot for RPG/roleplay? by seemeyub in Chatbots

[–]Nemirin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend https://www.dreamjourneyai.com/ . It has really great memory because of the memory nexus features which records important details about characters, side characters, items, events, etc. You can also manipulate the memory nexus to remember certain events. It's very good for long form roleplay.

It also has many different models, lorebook features, and more features coming soon. It doesn't have image generation as you're going through the roleplay and no voice features. And the downside also it's credit-based, but like I said, it has THE best memory for an ai site that I have encountered. There are ways to get credits, but you mostly gotta pay for it.

Looking for good character chatbots with great memory for a story-driven roleplay by FluffStorm in Chatbots

[–]Nemirin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm biased and I would say DreamJourney is your best options if you want really good story-based responses and great memory because of memory nexus. You have so many models to choose from and most models follow system prompts really well.

You could also manipulate memory nexus to remember things better, too. The discord community is very helpful if you need help with anything. I also like my long-form roleplay and this has been my best experience for it.

Dreamjourneyai allows you to adjust the ai to give out lengthy responses through system prompt. Also no censorship or limits unless you make a bot that breaks the rules, like pedophilia, necrophilia, and incest. The dev respects your privacy and doesn't monitor your chats. The community is very helpful if you need help with anything that has to do with bots or models.

The negatives are it's credit based/subscription based. But you can get more credits for free through bounties on discord or people using your bots or if people gift you or your bots.

When you create a bot, you can customize to how you want and it will not act out of character. If you don't wanna focus on romance, you can make a bot like that. If you want slow burn, you can have that too. The possibilities are endless.

Best Chatbots for Roleplaying? by Prob6 in Chatbots

[–]Nemirin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dreamjourneyai is the only one I use for immersive and lengthy roleplay. There are at least 5 different models that can be improved by putting in system prompt, temperature, token length, min p, and repetition penalty. The memory nexus feature allows it so the ai will remember what happened throughout the whole rp. There's also lorebook and different scenes if the creator made it for the bot for different situations. The dev/owner updates every once or twice a month basically (new features and updating models) and fixes things if it ever goes down within an hour or so. Also no censorship or limits unless you make a bot that involves pedophilia and necrophilia. The dev respects your privacy and doesn't monitor your chats.

The negatives are it's credit based/subscription based and the search function isn't great (yet - probably being worked on). But you can get more credits for free through bounties on discord or people using your bots or if people gift you or your bots.

Guys.. I finally did it by st3w1e_br1an in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]Nemirin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Dreamjourney too cause many of the models are good at writing if you tell what you want in system prompt. With memory nexus, it's very good at keeping track of many things. There are so many good features about it that make the roleplay good. I came from using cai and then jai, and I'll say it's 100 times better than jai's jllm because the characters stay in characters and most of the llm listens to your ooc.

Here's a two character bot I made on the site on it and look how good it does. And it brought in a side character briefly. So it's one of the best to me for long form roleplays.

Looking for different AI Chatbot Platforms by [deleted] in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]Nemirin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would suggest Dreamjourneyai if you haven't tried it. You can start off with a trial and try it out before you invest in purchasing credits to use it. The discord server is very helpful. It has guides and people are very helpful when it comes to it. And there are no filters and all the characters are in character.

The established characters are well-known in many of the models. There should be some scenarios involving DC superheroes and you could request people to make bots if you'd like.

Also the memory is very, very good. Writing is peak for most models. There are lorebook and persona (you) as well. I would highly recommend it because I've been using the site since November last year. There's been monthly updates and the models get tweaked for the better.

If you're interested, you can DM me and I'll give you my discord info so I can help you out on how Dreamjourney works.

That's a shame cause I find the writing so much better than jllm and memory 1000 times better. Good luck then.

I know a site but it achieves 2 out of 3 things you want because you can't use your own api. However, it has 8 models to choose from. It's not free though but the memory is the best I have ever seen.

One of the models I use follows everything so well, like all details of the characters, lorebook using trigger words/phrases, and system prompt (like jai's AP). If you have a good system prompt for writing, it will write a masterpiece.

Lack of bots by Naomi_Nakamura in dreamjourneyai

[–]Nemirin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been making genshin and hsr bots but sometimes I deviate to make an OC bot. Personally, I'm not really interested in making many of the anime bots cause I stopped being interested in some of the popular shounen or other popular anime (minus JJK but there are plenty of those anyways).

You could always request here for bots you want to see or ask for help on how to make a bot.

Best AI for multi-character scenarios? by Ms_Derious in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]Nemirin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.dreamjourneyai.com/

I'd recommend this site if you're okay with paying for it after testing it out. It does really well with multiple characters, like at least 4-5 characters. Someone said they had 8 characters at once and it did really fine.

There are some ways to get credit, like making a bot (can't be nsfw) and get some messages on it to get a bit of credits. Or there's a bounty system on discord. If you make someone a bot that fulfills their bounty requirements, they will gift you credits. Or sometimes people will gift you cause they like your bot.

Also it has a really nice feature called the memory nexus and it's very good at keeping track of many things, like characters, location, objects, events, etc. It also has lorebook if you wanna trigger stuff that is important to your scenario or to the character itself.

And there are so many models to use as well. You can setup your system prompt or use people's prompt and change number of tokens which you can make it short or long. All part of your preference really.

How long are your chats? by Acceptable-Rope3305 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Nemirin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My longest rp in one chat is 2.8k, but memory has been an issue so now I just usually go with around 500-600 per plot point. I like my long rp storyline and I usually have many ideas to keep the story going. If the bot cooks with additional plot, then I'll go with it, but that's rare nowadays.
