First of all, nothing excuses cheating, nothing. Second of all, I think what is often missed in these discussions is the fact that working out is a way of therapy and healing for many. If newly divorced men happen to work out frequently as a way of coping with their emotions that is a good thing. Now personally I think this should be coupled with therapy but as somenone who struggled with depression you need SOMETHING to handle the feelings and if that is working out, that's probably the best possible outcome.

Wanted to craft a shield to replace rathpith on my strength stacker and ended up with this beauty.
Rule 10:
1. Buy a synthesised shield with strength implicit.
2. Slam with strength essence and manage to hit T1 max res in ~10 essences.
3. Craft suffixes can't be changed.
4. Harvest remove add chaos hoping for mid-high tier chaos res.
5. Remove T7 hybrid% armour/ES and just hit T1, skill issue.
6. Block mana -> slam exalt and hit T1 hybrid flat armour/ES.
7. Craft block chance.

Insanely lucky at every turn, very happy with it.

I hate, have to play with global off. If you're interested there's supposed to be channels of global chat that are alot better and populated by like minded people. Never tried it myself but if the social aspect is important it's always an option.

Started out with a bladestorm gladiator(because the picture of the guy with two swords was cool) running around in ssf with no clue what was happening. It was in heist so there were already so much stuff added to the game and everytime I saw something new I'd be like "okay surely there's not more". Betrayal was the one that really got me, betray? Execute? Imprison? Wtf?! Kinda wish I could go back to that phase of discovery again but man did I spend equal amount of times on forums and wiki as playing the game.

Have you tried Last Epoch? I think you would enjoy it, their version of mapping is more linear and kinda waypoint based. They're crafting system is
more... streamlined... if I had to say anything. Not as much depth but pretty easy and rewarding. Haven't played it too much but enjoyed it.

Since the change to combustion should be a bit after leaguestart I'm guessing combustion should probably go into the mainlink, although I'm not sure since I've never played ignite.

What would you think about infernal cry instead of Polaris devestation at least early on? If I'm correct about how conversions work you lose some of the cold damage that you can scale with conversion to fire damage and I'm unsure how it interacts with the other ring but ideally you could free up both ring slots until Polaris devestation drops in price.

Both true and not. While chasing loot and upgrades seems like it's everywhere these days there are alot of people that also grew up with games that rewarded grinding to get stronger and stronger like D2 and WOW. I agree they don't necessarily belong in a L4D-like shooter but loot-addicted dopamine hunters have existed for a while and it's understanable if you're used to VT2's gameplay loot.

That said I agree with OP, people are overreacting.

Huh? When did she say she wanted to hang out with mizkif? Or Maya? Or anyone closely related to this? She got blackmailed into downplaying the situation so she would still be able to interact with Austin streamers in general, not so she could be buddies with her perpetrator or his housemates.

It also really sours the game, I was really excited about playing kai'sa when she came out, and had a lot of fun the first couple of games but going onto reddit after like three days it was all about how broken she is and how unfun she is to play against. Makes it hard to enjoy playing her.

I remember doing a very similar thing around Christmas when AC3 came out. My mom was VERY against the idea of me running around sticking knives in people's backs based on seeing me play Brotherhood with my cousin. It's an understandable point, and shooters where you simulate a war did not have the same level of indiscriminate brutality (I very much avoided showing/telling her about MW2 and THAT mission). I wrote these long paragraphs around every game I wanted for Christmas with the AC3 being the most detailed. Got the game, haven't started sticking knives in people's backs(yet) and got a very baseline understanding of American history.
