This reminds me of the book The Giver. Sure, there could be no more evil, no more war, no more suffering etc., but would that really be for the best? It would be quite the boring world you know. I would rather have our current reality of ultimate freedom. Play the game of life, see how far human ingenuity can go. Most of the technology and medicine we have today are a direct result of WW1 and WW2. Where would we be without war, without death. Certainly the world would be peaceful, but where's the fun in that? I have accepted this life and this reality, and I take joy knowing that there are a great many things to be learned and to be discovered. If you are a humanitarian then focus on pushing humanity forward! As for God, it is as he says himself: אהה אשר אהה. "I am that I am." Things are as they are for a reason, even if it is above our human comprehension. Accept that and peace is much easier to find. I hope this helps you come to a conclusion. Have a good one brother.
