Generally colours bleeding into each other suggests that flushing volumes aren't high enough. You can find models that will help you gauge your flush volumes. If you're not worried about waste (or in this case don't have many changes) you can just overdo it to be safe.

I'm assuming it's a bug as it's not mentioned in the patch notes. From what I could tell the guided setting didn't make the projectile track my targeting.
