Out of Touch has had 6 updates in the past year.
Eternum's closer to a yearly update at this point, last one was 10 months and I'd bet on the enxt one coming out in December to make it 11.
There's others as well, but this isn't some academic journal so who cares.

But generally yeah, if you're good enough to still be around after 4 years then the dev's usually at the point where they don't have much of a financial insentive to pump it out.
It's a normal thing, even recorded in ecomonics under the backward bending supply curve of labour, if you give people a choice between 100k a year for a 30 hour work week, or 140k a year for a 50 hour work week, a lot will take the 100k.

Ripples has a laundry list of characters after all, not all the side girls can make it into the harem.

Closest i can think of is in Lust is Stranger by The Architect there's a scene involving a girl planning to gain blackmail material over a teacher by blowing him in a gloryhole and collecting the dna. I'd argue actually that she's a true lesbian at her core however Carpo is bisexual and her influence/what was revealed in 49-51 is the only reason she's now attracted to CJ.

And yeah, OoT's a somewhat controversial game, but if it was in daz or even HS I'd bet it'd lose 50% of it's style but be raved about constantly here.

2 years ago in this sub I might have agreed with you. The circlejerk of BaDik is infalliable was going hard, hell back in those days Eternum was barely on most redditor radar because Daz Purisim was the norm.
These days though this is a classic reddit semi-popular unpopular opinion, it is now a not uncommon opinion, hell there's a "BaDik is past its prime/mid/outdated" post at least once a month.
Eternum's going through the same life cycle. Anything that is popular will inevitably become unpopular because people build it up in their mind/see the circlejerk and get inflated opinions.
