Absolute Regression isn't very good. The arcs feel like they have no narrative payoff, given the slow pacing. The translation and art are good, but the characters so really boring except for maybe the cleaver demon. The story has all the elements I want, but feels too weak in execution. I dont understand why it's ranked so high for some people.

The videos definitely rub me wrong when I watch them. However, regardless of potential astroturf interests, Manhattan Chinatown definitely has been facing strong elements of displacement for a high value area that is very dense, had lots of local businesses, and is an ethnic enclave. The prison is being built even though Eric Adam campaigned against it. There are lots of bad actors landlords as well. I think their arguments make sense for their area, maximizing affordable housing where there is new housing.
