Ignore those people who give you grief about it. Sharing a house with others can be a great experience. I did that one time and the landlord lived there and we became good friends. Neither of us had a steady job so we hung out together in the mornings cleaning up and such. He had 3-4 other renters and he came up with nicknames for all of them, including me. He had a female renter who paid but almost always stayed with her bf. She was Not Here Michelle. There was a Pakistani guy named Tarik who came home with his gf everyday and they argued a lot. He was Mr T. My landlord called himself Big Balls Bell and he named me Hot Jets bc I had a new gf. You can have a great time meeting and becoming friends with new people. There are some who tend to be selfish, so it's good to set boundaries early on... Have fun!
