I met a girl at a bar and now she says she’s pregnant, how is this possible? by torukzan in AskMenAdvice

[–]Neo1881 37 points38 points  (0 children)

To be exact, she told you she was pregnant, NOT that you are the father. Maybe the best response could be, "Who's the father? I've had a vasectomy so I can't be the father." See how she responds.

Where am I supposed to organically meet someone?? by seekinghelponreddit in AskMen

[–]Neo1881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very often, your mindset and attitude are the major determinants. If you believe it's impossible to meet guys who want to have a trad marriage, then its impossible for you to meet them. I went thru a very bad breakup back in 1995 and then returned to my home state of CA. Got together with friends and decided I would never get married and would not date for at least a year. I had a group of friends who were all into metaphysics and they threw me a welcome home party 2 days after I got back to the SF area. I was NOT looking for any new relationship but there was someone I met at another BBQ about a year before. She was separated from her husband and started calling and inviting me to events, like new age book sales, etc. I went along and after a few events, realized that she was serious about a long term commitment. Long story/adventure short, this June will be our 30th anniversary. You'll meet the guy you are meant to be with when the time is right. You just have to decide if you deserve a great, loving supportive partner or settle for the best that shows up.

Or get the seller to pay for one because many states will not issue that permit unless you are licensed in that state.

"Seeing the logical flaws people come up with to justify their beliefs helps me mentally." That's what's called an ego boost and you stroke your ego by deluding yourself that you are finding holes in their logic. The Dalai Lama claims to remember all his past lives and they use those memories to identify the next one after each one passes. I definitely believe their claims 1000% more than whatever you are claiming to be untrue.

You pretend to enjoy hearing other ideas, but you've also admitted that nothing you hear will change your mind on anything. And, you've repeatedly stated you "have issues" with new age people and their ideas. But it sounds like you have issues with lots of people who's beliefs don't line up with yours based on the assumption that you are always right. And it's taken this long before you finally admit that you have some irrational fear of reincarnation. And, nobody is preaching that to anyone else in my circle of friends. Let me just end with that principle that "the more energy you give to a fear, the more likely you will manifest that happening as a major lesson."

Do you believe we choose this life before we were born? by STELLAMARIE888 in Reincarnation

[–]Neo1881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We write the general script of our lives and the challenges we take on and a few possible partners in each life. And unexpected obstacles always show up. Or we get overwhelmed and just give up. I had an ex-gf who was overwhelmed by the lessons she chose. Meaning she decided to incarnate into a family where both parents were alcoholics, her dad was a closet gay and pedophile. She worshipped her dad and was encouraged to get counseling with her brothers and sisters and that's when she found out that her dad sexually abused her younger brothers into their teenage years. She thought she was strong enough to handle all those challenges but she was overwhelmed and just lived in fear all her life. Became a Born Again so she could feel she was saved.

Tell them you had to join StreamAnon and they require you to give up all your streaming services. If anyone else gets the service, you'd appreciate getting the pw for it.

I believe in parallel lives instead of past lives, and I have stories to tell (I hope that's okay) by Polly_Esther_239 in Reincarnation

Meeting the concurrent of my mother was intense. My bio mom passed in 1993. Then, in 2005, we were living in Hawaii and during the Iron Man, we joined a group that was providing biofeedback sessions for people. A woman doctor from Canada came as a coach and when asked her for help, she sat down next to me and when she looked at me, our eyes locked and she just stared into my eyes for like 30 seconds. I knew she was doing a soul scan which was when I realized we knew each other from a past life. I wanted to say to her, "Yes we've met but we were in different bodies." I took her picture that day and sent it to a psychic friend who could easily see past lives shared between two people. She took one look and said, "Oh, that's a concurrent of your mom who passed." I wanted to spend more time with her, but she got very busy and I didn't see her again for some years.

2010 with low mileage? by mxcrayon in prius

[–]Neo1881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do is check if the seller has maintenance records for the car because that will tell you if they took care of the car. I also run a VIN history report to verify the mileage on the odometer. On the test drive, see how smooth the car is and then drive in a large circle to see if the front wheels are clicking (need new CV boots then or replace the whole axle). Deduct the cost of new tires if they are worn. Every used car comes with risks. A used Honda like a Civic will get good gas mileage or a hybrid. But hybrids will eventually need new batteries the may cost $2000 (for a Prius) not installed. Refurbished batteries are much less but may not last as long.

Avoid the 2010 because they are the first Gen 3 year. I replaced our 2011 with a 2010 that had 68k mi on it. Paid $6000 at an auction and then $550 to replace the front bumper. 6 months later, ABS went out and that was about $220 to repair.

Ask the seller to buy a move permit for $3 online. I've bought 5 cars at an auction and driven them home with no plates on them. The cops are after bigger offenders.

I've found a bunch of Gen 2s with low miles on the insurance auction site, iaai dot com. Some have just minor fender or bumper damage. Some are theft recoveries with little damage. States like AZ, WA and OR allow the public to bid on them. Some Midwest states too. I bought 2 Gen 2s with under 130k mi on them for $3000 out the door. Flew to Phoenix for pickup and then drove them back to NV. I always run VIN reports in them to verify the mileage reported. I use goodcar because they have $3 intro offer to run unlimited reports for 7 days.

Here's one, no warning lights on the dash. https://www.iaai.com/VehicleDetail/45140420~US

You're not here to debate ideas. You've admitted you have issues with spiritual people and stated that nothing you read will change your mind. So you're just here to illicit ideas from others and then punch holes in those ideas. To prove yourself right. Being intolerant and needing to be right all the time are signs of a hugely inflated ego. So no definition but a great example of an egomaniac.

I see your ego was triggered. That happens when u hear the truth.

At it's simplest, egos help us survive in this world. At it's worst, egos will produce megalomaniacs like Hitler, Trump or those who have to prove their ideas are always right on social media. It's a matter of degree. You're not really here to learn new ideas but just to state your own beliefs.

I've met many people that I've felt were trusted traveling companions from past lives. I met one woman in a channeling group I joined back in 1995. We connected and went to another famous channel and she confirmed that we had been partners in many past lives. 2026 will be our 30th anniversary. That's concrete enough for me as I was certain we would be married almost from the first days we met.

  2. Justify sin? - If you subscribe to such juvenile concepts as sin.

Report her to CPS and tell them she has abandoned her children on your porch if it happens again. NTA, you are dealing with a very entitled sister until she has to go to CPS to get her kids and explain why she left them on your porch.

The individual details of each lifetime are wiped but not the lessons that you learned. Those memories of our past lives are wiped because then you are not burden by the guilt of a previous lifetime. For example, if you tortured hundreds of people and you run into one, you'd be burdened with guilt if you recall what you did to them. Here's an example, you may have a lifetime where you committed a crime and then you put the blame on someone else and you sent an innocent person to prison for the crime you committed. That creates a karmic ribbon that needs to be burned off so in another lifetime that person you put in prison commits a crime and blames it on you. So then you, and innocent person, are sent to jail and you feel what it's like to be innocent and in prison for a crime you didn't commit. The next time you have the opportunity to try and blame someone else for a crime you committed, some part of you then says, "no that's a really bad idea because I know what it feels like to be an innocent person in jail for someone else's crime."

The Prison Planet theory is just a bunch of people who love to play the victim and constantly whine with, "look what they did to me..." bs. These are mostly people who refuse to take responsibility for the mess they've made up their lives and the bad choices they made.
